Re: Naturalisation application - legal work under student visa

There is no need to send any p60 and wage slips to cover the 10 years employment period. Just mention the employment start and finish dates in the application form. Thats what i did and got approved.Hope it helps. When u see a wild animal sleeping in a jungle. Your best bit is to don't disturb him....

Re: Scanning Passport

yes it is better to scan each page of the document and upload. I tried self-uploading a file containing all pages of my passport but it was too big (Sopra system only allows 6MB per file). So when I went for my appointment, I asked the person checking my documents to scan my entire current passport ...

Re: Naturalisation application - legal work under student visa

The form asks for 10 year employment history so I just sent P60s as supporting evidence.

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Re: Careful - Cannot travel during naturalisation application!!!

Just an update on this - UKVI have now updated their page. It says the following: If you are applying for leave to remain, or indefinite leave to remain, you should not leave the UK until you have received a decision on your application. If you travel outside the “Common Travel Area” (CTA) before th...

Naturalisation application - legal work under student visa

I submitted my application for naturalisation a couple of weeks ago. I have just realized that some people have been rejected for working whilst on student visa, where the work exceeded 20 hours during term time. I have previously full-time worked during my student visa, although, I only worked afte...

Re: Query regarding new service

There appears to be no JCAP service. I have just applied using the new service and there was no option to submit a joint passport application. So that's the bad thing about the new service. However, there are aspects of the new service that are quite convenient and seamless for e.g. easy appointment...

Re: NDRS/UKVCAS Passport all pages copy

Well I had my appointment yesterday with UKVCAS (new system by Sopra Steria) and the lady there just scanned my stamped pages. She didn't seem to know a lot about immigration rules because I had to insist that she scan the old passport as well (to provide the full 5 year coverage). She didn't unders...

NDRS/UKVCAS Passport all pages copy

Hi, I just wanted to check if they take copies of all pages at the NDRS/UKVCAS appointement or just the front page? The reason I ask is, UKVCAS give you the option of self-uploading the scanned documents (prior to the appointment). If people have been submitting copies of all pages in their passport...

Re: Careful - Cannot travel during naturalisation application!!!

Yes but nowhere does it say that naturalisation applicants can travel. It is an assumption on our part- I realise that previously travel was allowed but under the new system, they haven't specified. Also, that last bit about leave expiring is irrelevant. The guideline clearly says that travel outsid...

Careful - Cannot travel during naturalisation application!!!

If you are applying for naturalisation under UKVI's new front end service (UKVCAS), you may not be able to travel outside the UK while your application is under consideration: This is what the official guidance says: You should not leave the UK until you have received a decision on your application....
