what type does it say in he visa sticker in the passport ?

does it say visa settlement spouse or anything else ?

Lets hope for the best To be honest , old and new rule may not make much difference in my case.... thanks Danbrix ..i didnt know that ...this is not a good news for me as i was thinking to switch from wp to spoue visa FLR-M in dec'09 as my wife gets ILR under JR .....i wonder , how would they treat my application then if i apply for FLR-M ?

it looks like my child will be ok if he remains in the uk. i.e i was wondering if i go out of the uk to changce my visa to dependant visa of my wife(she is a hsmpian), would his dependant visa would affect as i had sponsored the visa in 2007. so i sent an email to HO. yes your partner can switch once you have got ILR ....they may give your partner 2 years(probationary) visa..and then you could apply for ILR ...


But new citizenship law would increase that to 3 years if that 2 years period end after july 2011....

what a pain....
