Just to let you know my mother attended her ukvcas appointment today. All documents were returned including her passports. Waiting game now.

Will update once she receives her brp.

You can opt for super priority service (£800 extra) within uk and get decision within 2 days.

My understanding is you have to be in uk to apply for ilr vignette to brp.

Why don't you apply for a new passport? You have time.

They only keep your valid passport and return the rest of the documents.

You should take all the documents even if you have self uploaded. If there is some issue during document upload at least you can give them the documents at the appointment.

You can take scanned copies to your appointment thats fine.

If the person accompanying her requires a visa too then yes two separate applications.

If she doesn't require visa then passport and visa copy should be fine.

For sponsor they ask will anyone be paying towards the cost of your visit.

Normally that question is for applicant not for sponsor.

They normally scan & return the original papers. Good luck.

In my opinion, she does not need to provide any reason for staying 13 weeks.

I have seen cases where people have have stated 6-8 weeks and stayed 3-4 months and when applying again, were granted visa without providing any reason.

Provide reason if their is refusal.
