Re: Experiences using new UKVCAS for naturalisation/citizenship applications

This is a question I was pondering over as well... To provide the information on our referees (ie profession,Passport details etc), do we use the paper form referee section? It shows as pages 19-21 for the paper AN form.... Hi Codem2013, I appreciate your reply and support. I already printed that o...

Re: MN1 Parents Immigration status

Why did you apply for ILR for the children?? There was no need to. You could have skipped ILR for them and applied for citizenship directly once either parent got ILR. Hi CR001, I knew you would have asked me that question :) You are correct it does not make sense to spend 3K x 2 for ILR when you c...

Only the parent who holds ILR. Hi CR001 and All- I just received my ILR card for myself, wife and 2 children (3 and 4). Both children born in the UK. I am filling out the online MN1 application. However, I noticed the online version is not asking me to fill out a table with the children absence for...

[/quote] Yes I agree with you, it is not very convenient..hopefully they will improve this or set up something similar to passport online application where you only provide the referee email, so he can receive all instruction and fill in everything online.. For referees, try ask your health visitor....

applying for ILR SET (O) (5 years with Tier 2). By between jobs I meant I have ac...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Thanks a lot oldmankensey! I added a few stats not that it matters much but it helped keep me busy for a few minutes and control my anxiety  ‘Still waiting’ figures as reported by forum members: November: 12-18 - 1 / 1 = 100% 19-25 - 1 / 4 = 25% 26-Dec 2 - 13 / 22 = ~60% Total: 15 / 27 = ~56% D...

Congrats to those of you who received the good news today. It sounds encouraging to see more people getting the letter/email communication today. Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

@SidG I have seen lots of people escalating over the phone, but, my personal observation is that most of which was a waste of time and money as they charge +£2 per minute. Others wrote to their MPs. I believe you can email UKVA. They may not reply or just give you a generic answer/script. Others are...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

@Sidg I believe your comment about people getting responses is a bit optimistic as a huge number of people whose appointment was before Dec 21st have not heard back from HO, I’m one of them (Dec 17th). Following the thread from the beginning you will see a few poeople are waiting since Nov.

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Home office is automatically sending refund of super priority fees if they have failed to process within 24 hours. I received a communication dated 24 December by registered post today stating refund of 610 in the card where the original payment was made from in due course. I did not ask for refund...
