Re: Declare Pregnancy - yes or no ?

I understand that it is irrelevant, but would you recommend mentioning it voluntarily ? If it can give an advantage in case of a rejection ? Such as human rights grounds or anything else? The visa is a tick box exercise. Just tick all the boxes and you will get the visa. Written before Brexit- Ther...

Re: Can Sponsor continue to claim Working Tax Credit

Hello, I currently receive Working Tax Credit. I am 69 years old and so I believe this will change to Pension Credit some time in 2024. November this year I will be applying for a Fiance visa for my Philipina GF. When we receive the Fiance visa (fingers crossed), will I still be able to claim Tax c...

I am a UK citizen currently living in Ireland with my (non-EEA) husband. He is a doctor and has been working in Ireland for the past 5 years.

Has your husband looked to see if he could get a Skilled Worker visa?

Re: Claiming Child Benefit with Wife on Spouse Visa

As a British citizen, you can claim for your British citizen child. Child Benefit can only be claimed in one persons name and that must be your name because your wife is No Recourse to Public Funds. Until she has been granted ILR, any Child Benefit claim will have to remain in your name, which will ...

I have a question for a friend: His mother came to visit him in UK from Canada on visit visa in Pakistani passport 4 years ago and got hospitalised in NHS. NHS send her a bill of c£11K to his mother which she did not pay due to affordability. 4 years ago you were asking about how your mother could ...

Re: NHS old charges impact visit entry in uk immigration border

The repayment plan should have been set up 4 years ago and kept to. If that had been done within the 2 months of her stay in hospital, his mother's debt would not have been reported to the Home Office and the debt would have been cleared by now. Setting up a repayment plan now and then wanting to en...

Re: Baby Born in UK Parent Indian Passport Skilled visa (PBS) British Citizen ?

Our baby is born in UK and we have Indian Passport and are on PBS visa. We do not have ILR yet still 3 more years to go. Be aware that free NHS for the baby will end after 3 months, or sooner if the baby exits the UK. The 3 months is to allow the parents to get a visa for the baby and and pay the I...

Now that my daughter is turning 18 years old, will this have any impact on her application? Turning 18? Or do you mean she has turned 18? In the link to your previous thread, on 23 April 2022 you stated your daughter was 17 year 4 months. That would mean she became age 18 at the end of last year.
