yes it does. it does not matter which visa were you on , if you are applying for 10yrs ILR. It has to be continuous legal stay. that's it. no exams involved !

bb21,

Why on earth they would ask it? The guidelines does not say that. The only thing they are interested is 10yrs continuous legal stay, other than PP and LIK test pass certificate.

I would suggest you go through your books again and again. Since the immigration officer would ask questions your subject related questions. Even if they are satisfied with the answers, then might ask you to appear for a written test. If they are still not satisfied then might give you an option for...

HCI told me that PIO takes three weeks. I am not sure why for when this forum members saying that it is taking too lon...

As soon as you are offered a job, apply for your national insurance number (NI no) from social security office. Ask your employer for a employment offer letter and apply for it straightaway.

Magsi ,

Just to add what you said about SAR request. When I requested my SAR(with chq), I only sent a letter mentioning my address, HO Reference, and mY DOB. Obviously my signature is the same signature as recorded in HO file. I didn't sent anything else. (no passport photocopy, no utility bills).

OCI application

Has anyone been recently granted their OCI status? How long did it took from the date of application ( at HCI London). Do they take the British passport also when the initial application is made? After the application is granted, how many weeks more does HCI takes to put the stamp in the British pas...

nj, who so ever is telling you that HO has stopped giving appt for 10yr ILR is rubbish. I have booked appt for myself a week ago. I was given two options for Cryodon 9am or 10am. lboro, I agree with you. there are only 6 slots (2 cryodon, 1 for other 4 PEO's) per day. It goes very quickly. literally...

it does not matter. it is nopt a gap since you have send the app. on time. Keep the acknowledgement letter that you received Ho after you send off your application, which you must have received after you few days. Don't loose that. The date shown on that acknowdgement letter matters.

Cheryl99, I totally agree with you. The way UKBA treating the PSW students are awful. I don't understand the point why they are holding up the application. My intuition is that they don't want to put everyone into appeal process and create a long queue in the appeal system. Instead they are making t...

f2k,

Thanks for the info. You mentioned that countersignatory has to be a professional . As far as i understood that he /she needs to be a british citizen and does not have to be a professional. I know it applies to MN1. Does it really apply while applying for the PP.

last 3 months payslip. You will get your daughter's visa within 3/4 weeks since it is very straightforward. I would say , pay the fee by credit card then it will be more quicker.
