now a days they are returning passport on Friday evening with registered post so hopefully u get them back on Monday.

send passport on 20 July, Stamped on 23 and got back today.

write down the letter and explain why u had gap and sign it and bring to your local immigration officer and ask him to sign and stamp it so this way he can confirm that your excuse is valid.
