Re: Can my son travel to UK?

In my opinion you can enter/depart a country on one passport. So if you show your UK passport to leave you have to have a right to leave the country. If there is no departure visa on the newly issued passport the child will not be allowed to leave. If they show their Indian passport you would requir...

Re: Overstaying query

your query is unclear. You have not informed on what visa you are now residing in the UK to apply for BC.
Time you have lived in the UK etc etc.

Re: Can my son travel to UK?

I assuming she does not want to apply for an exit visa from India. This is if she has not obtained a resident permit on her UK passport, or OCI If the UK passport does not have an exit visa she will not be allowed to board. I see no other reason to leave India on a British passport and return on an ...

Re: Can my son travel to UK?

If you are doing this to avoid applying for an Indian visa dont. In any case you would be applying for the child's OCI so it would be irrelevant. You would require departure clearance if you dont apply for OCI. You would need UK visa on the Indian passport to leave the country or the airline would n...

Nobody here is a judge. We only narrate our experience and the moderators who know more because they are advising for a long time can only tell you what is a good solution without a guarantee. You cannot claim ignorance as an excuse. It is unfortunate but you have been found guilty even without plea...

Re: Urgent Help -Awaiting for Court summon - will it affect my application

I dont think there is a problem. Nonpayment is an issue if its pending for a while. But if one wants to challenge a ticket or appeal its not considerd non payment. That will not affect your application unless there are many cases of rash driving against you.# Dont panic its not going to be a big pr...

It would be obvious to anyone that when details are to be filled ALL details are required. They dont have questions that are optional and do not have space for those questions/answers to fill in blank space.

Re: Absence from UK - confused

Unfortunately many people do not like comments that do not suit them. They keep on asking until they get someone agreeing with their opinion. U say that she meets other requirements. Unfortunately she does not. 450 days or 270 days is the norm with discretion. However it should also not exceed 90 da...

Re: Mn1online application for baby born in uk and now outside uk.

Do not listen to friends. You will get 110 opinions from 100 people. Do the sensible thing and follow the guidance u get on gov.uk. In India you have to approach the nearest VFS and submit your documents. I think you filled in the wrong form because India does not have the online form option. MN1 is...

Re: Wrong Date of Birth in Naturalization form

Apparently you have not mailed out or submitted the documents.
The birth certificate is available. Submit the form with a letter stating due to an error the month mentioned is incorrect and request them refer to the birth certificate.#
It will be easy. Not to worry!

Re: Urgent Help -Awaiting for Court summon - will it affect my application

Sorry to state but your over caution or your desire for preciseness has caused you loss of money and stress. If you wanted to pay you should have just paid. The date error could be for many reasons. Like it may be because the violation is entered 3 days after the incident and its a human error. You ...

Re: Royal Mail Lost the Expired Passports

From personal experience. Bethnal Green London Police station refused to listen. Gave me a printed notice informing that due to lack of manpower the Met has stopped issuing lost passport reports. This in 2015. If they have reverted to issuing the report I am unaware.

Just curious. Why make an issue about the date when you accept guilt? You could just Pay the fine which you had decided to do without appealing. Getting the date of incident changed would not make any material difference anywhere.

Re: Absence from UK - confused

There is a misunderstanding. It is not clear from your post but I do not see your spouse meeting the requirement. You mention that she meets the requirements but dont explain how. But your statement says she accompanies you on your job related travels. The exemptions are for the applicant. Joining s...

For your information, the Police do not give you a lost passport report document. Apparently the consulates now process replacement passports without a police report.

If you have done your fare (sic) amount of research, you will have read the list of approved professional referees. Read that and find out who exactly can sign as a professional.

Re: Passport used to enter the UK with lost & expired

When you are told to get a replacement for a lost document it means a document that is valid. A replacement for a child travel document is a passport after the child becomes an adult. So you need to apply for an adult passport or renounce ur citizenship.

Re: Passport used to enter the UK with lost & expired

UK does not require a naturalized citizen to renounce their other nationality.# So when they suggested you renounce ur Ukranian citizenship it was only because it would mean you do not have any other national passport. If you do not have an uncancelled passport there is no other passport to compare ...

It is best recommended that one should not presume they have a right to receive any document on demand. One has to change their mindset and stop thinking they know what is logical and what is legal whilst HO people are fools. There are misunderstandings that arise and those can be sorted out. HMPO e...

I also highly suggest to set up a mail redirection via royal mail
From what I have read, redirection is not a safe option. It basically entails the new occupant putting the letter back in the mail box saying RTS. Some dont bother to do that. They just throw it away.

Re: British Citizenship application eligibility in May 2019

It really amuses me as why people are so desperate to get British nationality the first day they are eligible. When one is moving in 7 days and certainly nothing is done by this department (HO) in seven days obviously just stick to the new address or apply 7 days later. Im not mocking anyone for bei...
