I had a few clients with IRIS. All we did was to request formal print-outs of the travel dates. The caseworkers at our local PEO did not have access to IRIS data base (unless it has now changed). Unfortunately, no tickets were ever issued. I think receipts are issued the first time IRIS is used, but...

He may get a refusal for false representation/non-disclosure of a material fact in the past, his current visa may be curtailed and he may be requested to leave the UK. He may be banned from returning to the UK in most of the categories except as a spouse of an EU/ILR/UK citizens.

Re: Booking appointment PSW in person application

Currently you can book up to 6 wees in advance, if a slot is available. We lodged a couple of cases today on behalf of the clients at PEO Birmingham and the PEO was very full indeed. The demand is high. Hi everyone… I have a question, I want to apply for PSW in person at the end of September/begin...

Fees to lodge appeals are being introduced in October 2011

The Ministry of Justice has decided to charge the fees of £80.00 for an appeal on the papers and £140.00 for an oral hearing from October 2011. Note that this only will be applicable to the appeals lodged to the First Tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) (FTT IAC). The proposal to charge...

Ask your solicitor to chase the UK BA on that.

Re: ILR application more than 14 weeks waiting

Privet, We lodged most of those applications on behalf of the clients via the same day service, except for the one that was "locked" within the UK BA due to the client's...SAR lodged some time ago. Even that one was considered within 10 weeks. Up to 95% of the cases may be considered by the UK BA wi...

Re: Pre action protocol

If your solicitor had previously threatened them with a different JR and later did not actually lodge a JR - that is why they could ignore PP. Where did your solicitor send it to ? TreSol ? CSW ? Department that refused your application ? Hi guys i've got a article8 case/carer waiting for a decision...

That looks lime your UK BA Reference number. Does your surname start with a letter "V" ? Have you been served any UK Immigration Service forms ? They start with IS and then have some numbers, like IS96, IS151A etc. Need help. I applied for PSW in 2008 after my Master and was refused because I didn't...

Re: Premium service EEA

After ILPA's interventions this service was removed from the UK BA web-site. The last thing I saw on this service was a vague message that this might happen in the future. I spoke to the UK BA on that and they were surprised that it actually existed (LNCW5, Liverpool). Could you give a link to your ...

Normally any documents which are not in English have to be translated and certified.

I have seen an exceptions, though - clients applying from Spain did not have to do that as the UK Visa Section staff were speaking Spanish there.

Re: 14 years rule will be chopped, for sure??

This may indeed happen. When - I would not know. The 2009 Bill did not have provision for ILR on the basis of 10/14 year Rule, by the way. I think that 14 years rule will be chopped, for sure?? The document does not mention's 10 years rule so it may or may not survive. " We suggest too that those wh...

Re: worried-discretionary leave

I am quite skeptical about your chances of success. It would many times easier to get a proper visa from overseas. You may achieve nothing and eventually be still required to leave. When your lawyer took your instructions initially, how did he/she explain you that your application could be successfu...

Try other PEOs.

P.S. We are not selling the slots.

I am regularly defending such refusals in the courts.

Send me a copy of the refusal and I will see what can be done about that.

As for your family passports. The UK BA is usually only sending them to the port of exit provided you sent them copies of your flight tickets a few weeks in advance.

You may, especially if you would be applying to return to the UK as a Returning Resident. I have seen such a refusal just a week a so ago.
