Hi Guys, Anyone heard anything back who applied in 2017, applied in September 2017 and still no luck. Re: Citizenship ceremonies on 3rd July 2020

The article you are referring to says that gatherings over 5000 people will not be allowed. If they keep the number below that we might have a smaller ceremony, or a ceremony without guests in July. I hope for small ceremonies with less people and maybe only short official oath as well. Public mood...

Re: Citizenship ceremonies on 3rd July 2020

As per latest announcement no mass gathering till September. So It looks like ceremony will be most likely postponed as the easiest way to go forward. Hopefully the will replace it with smaller ceremonies in different provinces/counties. If they postpone, most likely due to 2nd wave of infections in...

Re: 6 weeks absences Ireland

If your total absence is less than 6 weeks within a year, you don’t need to include any absence. If it’s more than 6 weeks, you should deduct all of that. If it’s just a little bit above 6 weeks and they are due to work related activities, you can explain the situation and ask the company to issue ...

Re: Citizenship ceremonies on 3rd July 2020

It’s against the constitution, as every adult has to be sworn-in in front of a judge. They can do it the old way by having this done in local courts. This avoids large crowds and gets rid of the non-essential travels for most of the applicants, but I doubt if that would happen due to the logistics ...

Re: Citizenship ceremonies on 3rd July 2020

Would be so much better (in terms of coping with uncertainty) if they posted citizenship certificate in the same way they do for children applications.Maybe for limited period until we are back to normal life. Re: Need to travel abroad right after citizenship ceremony

The reason I was asking was that my question to Inis about this was answered that I can use the form for stamp 6 holders, even if it's for citizens with dual citizenship. I didn't want to use an old form found in Google as it may not be accepted, at the same time, wasn't sure if anyone had used the...
