1. When you apply for OCI, you must submit your indian passports. They will be cancelled and returned back to you with 'CANCELLED' stamp

2. If you are providing original expired Indian Passport, you do not need the other docs.

The market is tough at the moment. It's quite difficult to land a job while you r in India. It's because the employers want to see you in persona for interviews. So, I would recommend you not to spend money on the job placement services, as most likely you will be duped of your money.

Raj2K9,

Things are not rosy. However, things are improving. Witha bit of luck, you might get 30K - 40 K salary. Don't fuss about the role at the moment. With a bt of UK experience you may land in your dreamjob.

Things are not rosy here, however things are certainly improving. However, expect some delay in turnaround time. Things will certainly be better in March 2010. If you have a stable job in India, I would advise you to keep patience. If you can, it's worth a try to come here on vacation for say a mont...

Hello sam, I have tried it in the past 3 times and it has worked. You need to call HO and tell them that you are faxing the form straight away. Give them a call next day. If they say they haven't received it yet, fax them again. Make sure you give a good reason. I had applied for Urgent treatment wi...

ILR application - Dependent's stay outside UK

Hello, I'm planning to apply ILR. My wife has been on dependent visa since May 2003. She has stayed outside UK for continuous period of about 8 months. Does that affect her eligibility for ILR ? I do not see any questions on ILR form about her stay outside UK. Is it safe to assume that dependent's a...
