Re: FLR(M) Extension

You may want to consider if you can meet the financial requirement under category B. If when combined, the applicant"s and their spouse's income in their current jobs meets the £18,600 threshold, the first part is met. For the second part, if both of them combined have been paid at least £18,600 in ...

Re: Outside the UK - Priority service

Some members have reported getting offered the priority afterwards.

You will have to wait and see if the offer is made but besides that I doubt that there is anything more you can do from your end to get it.

Re: Outside the UK - Priority service

The priority service available on the VFS Global website and the biometrics appointment are separate. If you wanted the priority service, you would have had to purchase it regardless of which biometrics appointment you got. They normally require you to purchase it prior to or at the biometrics appoi...

Re: Appeal for Spousal Visa from Pakistan to UK

Hi All, I am hoping the following question will help myself and maybe others. 1. When we filled the application for spouse visa for wife in Pakistan, there was only standard service available on filling application form. 2. When we booked VFS services we bought the priority service. So question for...

Re: Appeal for Spousal Visa from Pakistan to UK

Priority services are available (as the OP has confirmed) for spouse visas, and other visas from abroad.

HO is unlikely to pass or give up such a cash cow.

Re: Is the 10 year route possible?

It may not be common but the Rules allow for the 10-year route to be granted on entry clearance visas.

They claim in many entry clearance spouse visa refusals that they considered if the applicant qualified on the 10-year route.

Re: Fincee Visa Application !!

There will be a question on the form as to when your relationship started. The expectation generally is that you should provide evidence from around that date. So you have some control here; you can choose the date and provide evidence accordingly. You can check with the visa application centre wher...

Re: FLR (m) potential loss of job close to renewal

It is not advisable that you apply before 01 June 2023 because you run the risk of having to make another FLR application to get the required 5 years before you get ILR. It's ok for them to apply before the above date as the window to apply to avoid ILR shortfall would have opened. You can use pays...

Re: Switch to 5 year family route

It appears only part of the decision letter was shared but it seems from what was shared they deemed the applicant did not meet the requirements and granted the leave with reference to GEN.3.2.(3) as mentioned in D-LTRPT.1.2. because of their child. If it's not stated in the bit of the decision not ...

If it was possible to post the full details of the decision leaving out personal details it could help clarify on what basis they reached their decision and granted the stay, and if necessary, request a reconsideration.

Re: Spouse Visa - Financial requirement under category B

I take this that as long as the total amount of salary you have earned is above 18k in the last months regardless of how many months, the person will qualify for the 2nd part of it. This is my understanding. If in the 12 months prior to the date of application, the threshold for part B is met, it i...

Do you know the max gap time between online submission date and UKVCAS biometric appointment date? 45 days or 3 months?
The applicant will be provided with a date by which they have to attend an appointment to provide their biometrics.

It's usually about 9 weeks from the application date.

Re: Family Partner Visa of a British Citizen-URGENT Reply Required

It appears the OP is referring to changing their application to a priority service so as to get a decision, BRP card quicker.

You normally get given the priority option prior to or at the time of payment.

It is may not be possible to change this afterwards, currently.
