Re: Spouse visa timeline outside the UK

Which 8 weeks are you referring to? It's stated that applications outside of the UK take 12 weeks (made up of working days) to decide, and it appears this is counted from the date of biometrics. Having said that, recently many applications from outside the UK are being decided way quicker than those...

The answers we provide
Do you have a degree that was taught in English? Yes
Go back to the form and answer 'No' to the above question.

The question is concerned with meeting the English language requirement, not the applicant's educational accomplishments.

Re: Spouse visa granted but 3 months less than expected 3 years. Potentially can cause another extension before IRL!

Yes she is on 5years route or 60months. You seem to get it wrong, spouse visas are granted for 2.5 years, its the covid 19 that mad e the usual 1 month vignette 3months and that why end up with 2 years 9 months. You will still apply for an extension Bits above are not quite correct. Covid-19 has re...

Re: Spousal visa - applicant is self employed

Thank you. So if we were to do this, I have not earned enough in Kenya to meet the financial threshold for the last 6 months - wouldn’t that be a problem? Youngest child is only 4 month old so working part time at the moment. I would just need to take the job the family member is offering instead o...

Re: Confusing Child of sponsor Evidence - 1st LTR Extension

They claim the online form is interactive but it isn't. It's very generic and tends to leave applicants confused.

Make the points in a covering letter that your wife doesn't have those responsibilities for your daughter and that should suffice.

Re: Visa Extension, Which category?

It's a generic form which covers more than one leave to remain application.

You will need to answer the questions to indicate that you're not meeting the financial requirement and English language requirements.

A cover letter will also be useful to point this out.

Re: Visa Extension, Which category?

It's fine to extend on the 10-year route. The documents are as outlined above except the financial and English language requirements, and evidence of your relationship with your children as you've outlined above. Have a go on the online form here . It will also generate a checklist of docs to submit...

If all the requirements are met, you may be able to apply today and still avoid a shortfall to ILR.

When was the current visa issued it when did they enter the UK on the existing visa?

Re: FLR (M) application - Evidence to support my claim it would be difficult for me to establish a private life outside

If you are confident you meet the requirements for FLR(M), you don't have to worry about that question or the evidence asked for to support your response to it.

Your response to those questions come in where you don't meet the requirements.
