I submitted my application through NCS. They said they will post the application by the end of the day. How do I get hold of the Postal ref number from them?

I called up my nearest NCS (Waltham Forest) to book an appointment for naturalisation application and they said to call up Friday to see if there is any appointment available next week!.

Is it really so busy or its just Greater London NCS are busy!
