Re: URGENT - Overstay after my family permit expires?

Thanks Obie for the clarity. I hope my husband will get a biometric card once he gets granted his pre-settlement status It will take some time. I applied in September and received my COA in October. Called a few times and been told the paper version is a first come first served basis. Meanwhile, my...

Re: Surinder Singh Settled Status Paper Application

Hi everyone, I am so happy to have found this forum! Trying to follow all the back posts but a bit confusing, so will ask and appreciate any advice I can get here: I've been married for 15 years to a British national. We've been living in France all this time and we have 3 children, all born in Fra...

Oh I called September 19, received the application a week later. Mailed end of September, received a biometrics request on October 8, did it that day, received COA on the 29th.

My EEA son got his pre-settled over a month ago. I’m non-EEA and still waiting 2 months now. Hello birkeneve, Thanks to share your timeline. Do you know how long time your soon ( EEA ) took to receive his pre-settled email? I’m near 1 month waiting 😢 I applied for him late-September online and rece...

Hi,

I think you need to call the resolution centre and give them details specific to you and they will mail you the application catered to your needs.

Re: US to UK EEA Family Permit Confusion

With all due respect, you don't seem to want to hear what the others are telling you. It's up to you. You always have the right to reapply. It's not that I'm not wanting to hear just unable to truly understand. I'm hearing many conflicting details so I'm trying to find the best and easier course of...

Re: Pre-settled status or BRC

Because you are non-EU, you must call the home office for a paper application. They ask you a few questions and send you an application with sections relevent to you. That’s your next step.

Re: Steps after getting to the UK

Hi, Is your husband UK citizen or EEA? Is he going to work in UK? If EEA and qualified person, I suggest waiting for him to join you, apply for his pre-settled status, then apply for you and kids. Else your kids can get pre-settled status online, you can apply for EEA2 card and later apply online f...

Steps after getting to the UK

Hi!

My question is what do I do next once we have arrived in the UK. I have an EEA family permit (expires in 02/2020) and my son is an EU citizen. We are arriving before Oct 31. Where do we apply to stay permanently? Specifically, what am I applying for and what does my son need to do and where? TIA.

Thanks everyone. My permit says he has to accompany me so win/win for me since I get to have a few extra days with him before he has to come back and wash the house. /evil laugh

HELP! Need a quick answer on EEA permit

I have an EEA permit. I will be taking the kids to the UK with me while my husband/sponsor stays behind to settle matters in Norway. Can I get through customs without him? TIA.

Re: Just saw this - No deal scenario

I’d like to know too. My son is Norwegian and so the biometrics lady cancelled his EEA family permit and said he can go because he’s eea. Well now that Mr. Johnson is flexing his muscles, will that mean my son can’t join me and our family in the UK when we fly in November? He’s only 11 years old.
