Re: Birth certificate of parents

It seems some glitch on the application portal, some ridiculous questions coming up these days.
If you both don't have birth certificates, any form of documentation for this e.g. Court declaration, affidavit?

Re: CoS wrong end date

Greetings, My husband's employer sent him a 3-year CoS with the same start date (dd/yy/2024 to dd/yy/2027). We found that some people in this group claim that this is not 3 years duration and it's +1 day. Can anybody confirm that? No one can solidly confirm any such thing to you here. For my own pu...

Thanks both and agreed, there isn't much difference to be fair. On another note, from your experience, does most applicant get an email to explain that a decision wont be reached in 6 months? or this may not even happen? Most applicants AFAIK are contacted if the application will not be decided wit...

Sorry may I ask why it was a mistake? Several solicitors had said that having a British child and spouse was a reason in my favour on the application to apply in country..

Re: Visa application financial evidence

Thank you all, i have submitted my visa today and just after applying I noticed that the start and end date of my CoS is : 01/03/24 -> 01/03/27. When paying for the fees i paid for the 3 years or less. Am I safe? I found some ppl saying that my CoS duration counts as 3 years and one day 3 years.

I'd say, take your time filling the application and present your situation strongly. I submitted mine without third party help. You don't require any specialised knowledge for this, to be honest. All the best.

NB: I got my visa last week! Congratulations

Thanks, I submitted super priority back in November and still haven't heard back. I thought 8 weeks inside the UK is for standard applicants not super priority? Has anyone had to send a Pap due to long wait times? Wrong to have gone for super priority, your immigration history suggest you shouldn't...

You are below the absence limit - no problem there. As far as you attend the appointment within the time limit (I think 45 working days) you can travel after you applied.

Dependa on availability and capacity to accommodate such by caseworker at the time you seek it.

Re: Divorce while on ILR

The husband and wife got ILR at the same time. 3 years later the husband got his naturalisation. The wife did not apply at the time. Now, the couple is divorced and the wife is still on ILR. Does this affect her ILR and future naturalisation application? No hindrance, let her go ahead and apply.

You don't need to send everything, that's an overkill! Take snapshots of your messages/chats about 4/month as a representative sample of ongoing conversations/communication over the period of not being together.
