That is not a valid argument. You cannot ask the minister not to respect the Constitution of Ireland. Changing Constitution requires a referendum. Similar problem here. My partner arrived on a long-stay D visa on February 21st, had her appointment booked for INIS registration on March 27th. Her permission expires on May 21st, so the announcement has left us in limbo about what's going to happen. If she has to return home, it'll be a disaster....

hi Stanina may I ask from where did you know they will postpone the ceremonies for one year? Did you read it on website, or TD told you, or a lawyer or newspaper or any official statement , I searched online but I not find anything similar then I will be grateful if you let me knew.

I think it will be difficult to change it after signed off Statutory Declaration then I have a friend just got refused a few days ago for not disclose, however, have you received anything from them like a letter or requiring information Since you applied?
