Write to the GNIB office in Dublin requesting for your period of reckonable residence. You’ll get it in a week or two at the most and you can use those dates for the residency calculator.

What they mean by ‘several ceremonies’ is having two or three ceremonies on the same day- the 10-ish am batch = 1st ceremony and the 1-2ish pm = 2nd ceremony.

Not really, there was a case where a person was denied even after swearing the oath but before receiving the certificate (at that time you would get it later).
He brought it to court and lost.
