Re: Having A Baby Abroad?

I'm a UK citizen, married to a Russian national. We're currently waiting for her spouse visa application result. We're expecting our 1st child in September, so may end up having the baby in Russia. If so, assuming my wife's visa is granted, what kind of paperwork/visa applications will we need to b...

Re: Spouse Visa Rejected- Help needed!!!!!

UPDATES 29.07.19: These updates are mainly to inform people who may be in a similar circumstance and need some guidance. After asking for a 2nd opinion with two lawyers, we have decided to appeal Home Office's refusal on my visa and here's why: We have been told by two different solicitors, who had...

Re: Applying Spouse Visa From a country that you are not a citizen

1) My wife have done IELTS Academic exam May last year. Do you think this will be valid for the spouse visa English language test? NOOOO, don't do that please :!: My solicitor gave me the advice of submitting my IELTS Academic C1 test (why not?) and my visa got refused on that basis only. Home Offi...

Re: UK Naric for spouse visa

Thanks Seagul. We have pictures to prove me have met on the occasion but not in the traditional wedding customer. As Seagul has suggested, I would also recommend you to have wedding photos for your application. I didn't have a traditional ceremony either, just a civil registration at The City Hall....

Hi guys! Just to inform that after painful 51 working days we've got an e-mail asking for more documents: You have submitted a Tax return for 18/19 as a sole trader. However you are a Limited company and are required to provide a CT600 for your trading year, this must have bank statements that coin...

And please whats the correct English test, required as we don’t want to make another mistake as she gets her passport.
What English test did she submit the 1st time she applied for the spouse visa? Because if she submitted a Life Skills IELTS A1, she should be doing the A2 this time.

Re: Spouse Visa Rejected- Help needed!!!!!

In my opinion if you have passed the test after the decision but now you adding it in appeal then i think still it might not be considered. Usually under such circumstances they automatically switch into 10 years of FLRFP route for in country applications. Thanks for the response, seagul . It makes...

Re: Spouse Visa Rejected- Should Appeal or Re-apply ?

It looks like your relationship was just one year old when you married her and you only met twice? Were these long visits, or just short vacations? My wife's marriage visitor visa was rejected after we had been together for 3 years, and met all over the World and spent months together and we passed...

As far as I know, you will need to be in that job for at least six months before applying (and have payslips, bank statements belonging to that period).

Re: What forms to use for child dependent on UK Spouse Visa Entry Clearance? Please help!

I have a question: Does sponsor's passport need to be certified by a solicitor (or anyone else)? I've read somewhere that it does, however I can't find this requirement anywhere in the official rules Last month I've applied for the spouse visa and I submitted a notarised copy of my husband's Britis...

Re: Passport issue re UK spouse visa from Bangladesh

Hey, I'm not an expert but I've recently applied for the spouse visa. I must say it was rejected for the English Test  , however the financial and relationship requirements did pass, so I'll tell you what I know about some of the points you have written down and what I did. 2. The start date o...

Re: Spouse Visa Rejected- Help needed!!!!!

UPDATE: I decided to write this in another post. I was thinking about what you all have said about the appeal won’t succeed if it’s based on challenging the decision, as it was the wrong document. So, I was digging up for more information and I found a document from Home Office called Withdrawing d...

Re: Spouse Visa Rejected- Help needed!!!!!

First of all, thanks to ALL of you for your invaluable advice. I really needed the objective point of view from someone who isn’t related to this situation. Further, I hope this will help someone too. Zerubbabel, seagul- Thank you for sharing your advice. I do also believe we must reapply with the c...

Can i go for priority service now?
I think it's too late to change. When I applied, I used the priority service and it took 25 working days to get the decision.

Spouse Visa Rejected- Help needed!!!!!

Hey to all of you! I need your advice ASAP as I’m a bit desperate. I’ve applied for the Spouse visa on Priority and just got a refusal letter, stating that the decision was made based solely on my English test. At this point, I have to add that I had an immigration lawyer, who checked the applicatio...
