Re: November 2013 - Naturalization Application Timeline

Schengen countries classify these countries as high risk. Visa processing for these countries requires extra checks which add 2-3 weeks to the processing time. Based on this naturalisation applications (even though UK is not part of Schengen) for citizens of these countries might take longer as evi...

Re: October 2013 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Looking at the above and November approvals it seems that the situation is sort of reversed for oct applicants (more people at HO seemed working on November onwards that is why it is taking longer for oct applicants. Yet again just to make ourselves at ease I think the bar needs changing from 6-7 w...

Re: Anybody still waiting from beginning of October?

for some weird reason HO seems to hate HSMP applicants. HSMP applicants are always punished with moving goal posts, raising bars in the middles, introducing news criteria and what not. Now in naturalisation application, they tend to approve the hsmp applications as late as possible  If you ...

Whereas SET(O) asks from the last extension up to a max of 2 years.
Thanks for clarification and I apologise for the confusion.

Did you actually read what I stated at all or not bother? Especially where I said the form is SET(M) not (O)! I did read whatever you wrote few times. Not sure what I am missing. I didn't ask anything about which form she needs to fill or anything. I simply asked, we need to submit documents for ho...

Re: cohabitation documents for HOW LONG?

If she switched to FLR(M) then the form she needs to complete is SET(M) not SET(O) and cohabitation proof is, for roughly every 4 months of the last 2 years, a joint letter or a letter each from a total of at least 3 different sources. Thanks for reply Amber. So, even though the form says " si...

Re: Why it takes LONG time to approve HSMP/WP??

It's taking a long time for everyone. When did you apply? I know its taking long time for every one as there is huge backlog. But if you compare the approval list, you will see very few people from hsmp/wp got approved in October. I would say roughly only 5% of total approval!! I was trying to find...

Why it takes LONG time to approve HSMP/WP??

Hi friends, Just wondering, if any one has any idea, why on earth it takes longer to approve application from hsmp/wp holder. If you check October time line or any other time line, you will notice, people with spouse, eea, long residence etc get quicker approval than HSMP/WP. WHy is that? What more ...

Richard applied for extension to his leave to remain in February 2002 at which time his leave to remain had not expired. It took the Home Office ten (10) years - May 2012 to deal with his application. The Home Office gave him Indefinite Leave after the intervention of a solicitor. During the 10 yea...
