Re: Spouse visa appeal

It just depends on the Judge’s verdict now. If the paperwork isn’t too complicated then the Judge may make a decision based on the paperwork provided. If the Judge feels it’s complicated and requires a hearing, then it’ll be listed for a future hearing. Hi hun, Have you heard back at all or been ma...

Re: Spouse Visa Appeal- First Tier Tribunal

Nothing yet, My wife has called them few times and they advised that my appeal is listed and I am in the que now to be assigned a hearing date. Thats all we have been advised and we were not advised to withdraw the appeal and reapply as currently HO is also discouraging new applications. What a loa...

Re: Spouse visa appeal

Hey I’ve just been told that the Tribunal was asking for our side of the bundle and will now give a chance for the HO to give there bundle. If they don’t give there side of the bundle, they’ll make a decision using our bundle. If they do give there bundle, the judge will look at both bundles. If it...

Re: Spouse visa appeal

Hello both

Have you been told that a decision will be made on paper instead of a hearing?

Did you guys also receive your bundles from the HO after the review? Mine was due on 1st April but we received it last week. The review was actually done on February!

I haven’t been listed for hearing yet.

Re: Spouse Visa Appeal- First Tier Tribunal

Hi Thanks for the update. Have they given you a date for when they have listed the hearing even if it will be done on paper? I’m not sure how quickly they are making decisions. I’m sure you will be sent a date or something for when your case will be reviewed? We received the HO bundle last week. It ...

No, I am waiting to be listed for hearing.

Ours is an out of country appeal and I’ve heard all out of country appeals have been put on hold.

Have you been listed yet for a hearing?

Re: Spouse Visa - Overstayer - chances of approval?

Hello While I wish you all the best, I am not a great believer of the success of this hearing. In many countries, a marriage is silver bullet when it comes to immigration: it fixes nearly any situation. This is not the case in the UK. I have seen refusals for people 100% compliant with immigration ...

I haven't had the hearing yet. Have not been listed yet. Most probably will be delayed further due to COVID-19.

Re: Submitting a passport

Hi Fififadi, thank you for you're kind words. We lodged an appeal in July 2019 and had the court date for late December 2019. So 5 months in total for a hearing. We were then notified that we had won our appeal 2 weeks after the hearing (the longest 2 weeks of my life). I am based in Newport, South...
