Re: Income spouse visa

Are you still self-employed or only working on the full-time contract? How long have you been working under the full-time contract? I don't think you'll be able to say your previous 12 months income that met the financial requirement was self-employment income but you are now working in salaried emp...

Re: Income spouse visa

I'd suggest a read of the guidance document linked below as it outlines the various ways the financial requirements can be met and combinations permitted: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/826340/Appendix-FM-1-7-Financial-Requirement-ext_...

Re: changing to Super Priority Service

You may be able to purchase additional premium services by logging back into the UKVCAS (Sopra Steria) website but I'm not sure if you can change to a super priority service or not but should be quick to check by going into the website. From the timeline thread, UKVI have recently been relatively go...

Re: Extending the flr (m)

One change probably worth mentioning is that the process is entirely online now. Going through the online application form linked below will provide some guidance on the documentation you will be required to upload as evidence.

Re: Cash saving route

If they want more evidence, they can ask for it. You do not have to provide such information initially with the application based on the guidance.

Re: Employment history issue with online application for new contractor

OP left his permanent job in June and now is almost October. Even the op might have earned far sufficient then required during the last 12 months to meet the second part of category B but he will be failed to fulfil its first part. Also he couldn't get the employer letter dated no earlier than 28 d...

Geoeng thanks a lot for your helpful answers.

Have you received your BRP already? when you submitted?
I applied on 21 July, went for biometric appointment on 9 August, received a letter saying visa was granted dated 13 September, and received my BRP a couple days ago.

Re: FLR(M) NEW ONLINE UPLOADING DOCUMENTS QUERY

Hello Ariamus, Have you found out at the end if the way you uploaded your supporting documents in relevant categories was right one? Many thanks! If he's not around, that is roughly similar to what categories I used except I put marriage certificate evidence in life events and bank statements under...

Re: FLR (M) application questions

Wherever possible I tried to keep everything in a single file or broke it into the smallest number of parts possible, but I don't think you have to do this if you name the files so it's easy to follow. I just thought it would be harder to miss or forget something this way, but an argument could easi...

Re: Two jobs and wife's spouse visa extension?

I have noticed from this forus taht UKVI is asking for one year payslips and bank statements as in the past it used be just six months. My quesstion is how i will have to calculate my variable non salaried income? What category will it fall in?? Not the case. 6 months vs. 1 year of payslips applies...

Re: Refusal based on lack of evidence (although the evidence was supplied)

Thank you for that... do you know how or who I can email to complain? As no direct emails are given. Best Wishes It's complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk for complaints about service or professional conduct, which I think would apply in your case if documents provided were overlooked. Additional details h...

Re: Standard visitor visa for parents forget mention previous refusals

Most of the times it is the "ties to home country" part which proves to be the most difficult. I don't see in this reply anything re inability to pay for the visit. The last few lines of the refusal relate to concerns about working or accessing public funds in order to have sufficient funds for the...

Re: Cash saving route

I've answered that question twice already. If someone else is telling you differently, you are free to go with what they've said as I'm far from an expert, just saying what's in the rules/guidance.

Re: Employment history issue with online application for new contractor

However I was in permanent for 3 years before and left the permanent in June this year. Salary from permanent should be meeting the requirements for visa but if I am selecting that option then it is asking me to provide details of current employment. Category A and B only really apply if you are cu...

Re: Standard visitor visa for parents forget mention previous refusals

Without knowing what you supplied with the application, there is clearly concern that your parents would have no intention or financial ability to return to India at the end of the visit as well as concern that they would breach the visit visa conditions by working in order to cover any financial co...

Re: Employment history issue with online application for new contractor

Can you confirm that by "contracting" you mean you are self-employed or the director of a limited company rather than employed by an agency? For Categories F and G of the financial requirements, you can only rely on income from the last full financial year or the average of the income received in th...

Re: Cash saving route

I'm a little unclear on what you're doing. Your wife is attending an application centre in the UK to have the documents scanned and uploaded? If this is the case then she will require the original documents to have scanned, don't send copies to be scanned.

Re: Refusal based on lack of evidence (although the evidence was supplied)

She has suggested a pre action, judicial review letter. If she writes for me, it will be £600. Apparently, the review system takes 6-12 months and she would charge £3k to hire a barrister to represent me. This get worse and worse! You don't necessarily need a barrister or solicitor, it will depend ...

Re: Cash saving route

All documents scanned should be original and you are generally advised to bring the documents with you to the biometric appointment. Unfortunately I don't know whether copies are also required when applying from Pakistan as the process differs from country to country.
