Re: Applying ILR Online before the 28 days

Thanks, the degree and transcript from my university were issued together (it's just one page each) so that's why I've included it. Yes, I'm pretty desperate to apply via Super Priority. I have a trip to India planned in December and it's probably the last time I'll get to see my grandmother. I real...

Re: Applying ILR Online before the 28 days

👍🏽 thanks for the advice aman90. I'm just about ready to hit submit this Friday when my time has come (literally) and I have the following docs. I suppose I'm not missing anything, am I? For a single person, Tier 2 (General) to ILR 5 year route under the same sponsor: Online application Employer le...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

What do you mean by escalation? I would cut a little slack - probably they are overwhelmed with the requests, hence why some people are not getting the option at all. Also I'm not sure when the 24 hour deadline is - they might count this in time of appointment or literally by midnight, so I wouldn't...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I'm by no means an expert but I imagine it will take at least 2-3 business days from your appointment date, not your submission date? If you had your appt yesterday, Sunday is not a business day so they probably only sent your papers today or at least started looking at them today. I would wait till...

Re: Applying ILR Online before the 28 days

Thank you aman90. Yes, I have counted those absences in that as well. It's just in 2 out of my 5 years I was in the US for around 30-33 days at a time, where my boss let me work remotely for 2 weeks and take 2 weeks as holiday. Even counting that, I was out of the UK for a total of 56-78 days in tho...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Ok, so that's what I meant by "approval appointment." So the process is, I book / pay online, have the appointment with Sopra Steria, and then they submit the info to the HO, who makes a decision online and then emails / mails you about it? So I'll never see a case worker or HO official in person?

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Thank you and well done lhrflyer. If you don't mind, I'm confused about the different appointment types available. What is Sopra Steria exactly? I'm based in London so I always either went to Croydon or Victoria, but my understanding is, you pay for the super priority, book an appointment date, and...

Hi Mods that see this - full transparency - please can you delete the potatocat user for my colleague? I don't know what it is about this site that renders the email accounts not to accept it but my colleague can't get in with that account anymore - we were able to create a different account just us...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Hi all, I have my visa (Tier 2 General) expiring 16 oct 2018. My wife already got her ILR long residence a few days back, I was really really (extremely) worried when I didn't find super priority option for my ILR long residence application. However, looking at this forum, I was hopeful I might get...

Re: Applying ILR Online before the 28 days

The date of entry has nothing to do with the qualifying period. Just put the date when you actually entered the UK. Thanks, I put my date of entry as Sept 5, 2013. I just don’t want them to think I’m counting that as part of my qualifying period because I’m not - years on a student visa don’t count...

Applying ILR Online before the 28 days

Hi guys, I'm really confused on what the earliest date I can apply is. If anyone can please help that would be appreciated. I was on a Tier 4 (Genera) student visa from 2013-2014 to do my Masters. Almost immediately after my degree finished, I started interning and then later was offered a full time...

Re: Include Tier 4 (Student) Visa in ILR Appl + Misc Questions

Are P60's required? I don't see anything about it in the SET O form for ILR via Tier 2, 5 years, but I see people talking about it. My salary has not changed in the last year and a half. Do I need to submit this?

Also, does the employer letter need to detail when I got a raise?

Re: Include Tier 4 (Student) Visa in ILR Appl + Misc Questions

Hi,

How do I find my SOC code? I have just asked HR about this and they have no idea. I presume this would have been specified on the Certificate of Sponsorship the company needed when doing my Tier 2?

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

That is incredibly helpful, thank you lequynhmai. I presume you were just able to log back in the next morning when you checked again? I don't want it to do something funky when I get to the payment page. Also, do you have 45 days from the date of the application to choose an appointment time / type...

Re: Life in the UK Test, time of application (moved from student to Tier 2 to family)

Hi SMAK, curious, why are you including 6 months and 12 months of bank statements? Maybe it's a bit different for me as I'm applying as a single person from a Tier 2 to ILR after 5 years, but on the online application it specifically asked for 1 month of payslip and 1 month of bank statement, and sa...

Include Tier 4 (Student) Visa in ILR Appl + Misc Questions

Hi all, I just completed the personal info section of my SET O ILR application. I have the following questions I would greatly appreciate assistance with: 1. Should I enter my Tier 4 (General) student visa date as my " date you lived there (the UK) to " question? In the section that asks if you live...

Re: Excel Template for Absences, Doc Checklist?

Ok, thank you.

In the employer cover letter, is it acceptable for my company to write that working remotely from abroad is permitted, or do they need to comment on each individual absence where I did that (and for that matter, on each business trip?)
