That is not a valid argument. You cannot ask the minister not to respect the Constitution of Ireland. Changing Constitution requires a referendum. Unless you are suggesting that people all over the country should come to a hall to vote so that you don’t have to attend a ceremony, that simply won’t ...

If it is recognized that all applicants would want to have decision on their application without delay, why on earth do they delay? Just to annoy people?

I don't mean to piss you, but actually leaving no public trace could be a negative factor. :| A work history and paying taxes is always considered to be helpful.
