The NCS I applied through will send applications every Thursday. So, If you apply on a Friday, your application will not reach the Home Office till the next Fri...

Expiry dates do not apply for naturalisation applications. 3. What if your website says my qualification expires after 2 years? The expiry dates on the SELT list in Appendix O, do not apply to citizenship applications. For Settlement applications, we will accept Level B1 qualification on the SELT li...

List of approved English tests below. You need to get atleast B1 level. If you already have a degree taught in English then you might not need to write a test if the points based calculator gives you atleast 20 points for education and 10 points for English language requirement. (use the PBS calcula...

Hi Jai, We are just trying to check if the degree is being recognised and gives the required points. Using it as a tier 1 applicant should not be a problem. If you use it as a tier 2 applicant, you will not be able to see if you get atleast 20 points for education. Your wife should be able to use it...

Re: NARIC certificate not required if PBS recognises degree

Check the education under attributes. If you get at least 20 points in there, you are good to go. Please be aware that it is not enough for the degree to be in the list, it should actually give you at least 20 points for education attribute and 10 for English language requirement.

Re: Naturalisation - New rule, KoL & Life in UK Test

Please remember along with 10 points to English language requirement, the PBS calculator should also give you atleast 20 points for education. Only then the UKBA will accept the PBS print out to satisfy the requirement.

Re: NARIC certificate not required if PBS recognises degree

The PBS calculator should give you more than 20 points for your degree in education and 10 points in English language requirement. I think the 20 points is to show that the degree is comparable to UK degree and 10 points to say that the degree was taught in English.

You should be alright. Write a letter explaining that a PBS print is acceptable and that it has been mentioned in number of places in the UKBA website and also by the Home office staff in their emails.
