It would be gross pay always, where
GROSS PAY = TAXABLE PAY + TAX FREE ALLOWANCE

Note: this tax free allowance should be declared on your pay slip.

Re: HSMP Contact

Do you know that you can apply for re-consideration without any cost, if you have not done that before? Fistly talk to HO and ask him/her the reason for rejection, accordingly take your action.

Just mention on Cover Letter, no need on company letter head. This is mandatory in case HO wants to verify any details.

So, HR contact details is mandatory? Does it need to be in Company letter head?

Thanks

if wage slips are issued online/email then these should be signed and stamped. Since, u get the physical copy, that should be fine. Though, if I were you, I would not mind getting employer sign if it is quite easy to obtain. Otherwise no worries.

Re: HSMP form protected

I've just recently got approval and here is what I did:

I typed in wherever I could in the unproted document, took print out and filled in rest of info manually. My friend also did the same. It is not a problem at all.

For the benefit of those who will apply for HSMP:
Since, I was quite concerned if P-60 issued above would be accepted,
I have got my P-60 stamped and signed by Tax authorities in UK. This is to clear any doubt sorrounding its validity. Now, I've got approval as well.

Thanks!

Re: Regarding courier pickup (IN country application)

For in country applications:

No need to arrange for courier as HO sends back docs using RoyalMail special delivery. It is quite safe. Yes, please do ask HO to send you a mail before sending the delivery so that you can receive it at home/office.

good luck

If you are getting monthly salary, employer's letter should show monthly salary for each of 12 months. Dig into this forum, you'll find such examples.

Re: ! Urgent advise pls.. 1)P60 and 2)higher salary in a mon

1. P-60 is must. Since it does not cover whole period, you need to ask for exceptional consideration. BUt P-60 is must.

2. For the amount you mentioned, dont worry, just explain in cover letter, should not be a problem at all.

In this forum, I've seen people in UK but applied from India. Try to search for those discussions and send Private messages to such guys. They should be able to guide you.

Reg what HSMP letter contains, send private messages to people who have got it approved as they may not read this thread.

Alternatively, say you are acting as sponsor to your brother's US student visa and you need to produce authenticated Salary Slips. You are entitled to such things, so get these by hook or by crook, try diplomacy first.

No. If you read carefully, the guidance doc says either Employer letter or Bank Statements is must. Also, do submit all 12 bank statements. Any doubt, do let me know.

Re: Salary Slips

you must get a letter from employer stating all these changes. I would advise this letter should have a table containing 12 entries, one for each month, Name printed and Employer ID on salary slips. Better you write such letter and get it on company letter head.

You would require: 1. The Attested Salary Slips - get these via post (not scanned and printed one). 2. Indian Tax Documents 3. Just as additional docs, get your 12 months Indian Bank Statements where these Salary deposits are getting transferred - This is quite easy to obtain, so no harm in includin...

Re: typing or handwriting

You can type in wherever you can and after taking print-out fill in rest of fields with pen (preferably in CAPITAL letters). I agree it is confusing when we can't type in all the fields. Hi, Don't think otherwise. There are somefileds where the cursor doesn't take you there. For eg. on page 1, payme...
