Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

This seems to be the latest information. Based on the very last paragraph it may seem priority or super priority could be available again. Mind you, the 5 working days or 48 hours is only after the UKVCAS appointment, not after the application is submitted online. https://www.gov.uk/ukvcas UK Visa a...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi All- Wondering if anyone has received confirmation that when the centers reopen next week and biometric appointments start again that the home office will reintroduce priority/ super priority service? My immigration lawyer seems to think there is no plan to reinstate this service at this time an...

Re: **** COVID19 Life in the UK and English test centre closure **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi, does that mean one can cancel the 1st LiUk test and book a fresh test at the earliest date? Would they issue my refund for my 1st booking? Any idea guys? Don't cancel anything. Access the website were you booked the test with your log in information. Access your appointment, there is an option ...

Re: **** COVID19 Life in the UK and English test centre closure **** (ONLY discuss here)

I had been rebooked two weeks ago for 7-Jul, but today I logged in and now there are slots available now from the first week of June! Mind you, not in the closest centre available, but who cares! You need to access your account and manually rebook. This seems to confirm some LitUK centres will reope...

Re: Visa extension due to COVID and ilr

Dear Zimba, Thanks for the advice. That's definitely my intention, but my concern is whether Super Priority service would be available once UKVCAS re-opens. They have just announced how they plan to re-open, but they'll prioritize customers who already had appointments before pandemic started, then ...

Re: **** COVID19 Life in the UK and English test centre closure **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi, I am in the same boat. Visa expiring June 2 need to apply for ILR and life in Uk test moved twice currently scheduled May 5. Called immigration on the covid helpline and they said wait for a few days and there are chances they will blank out the LIUK test but she was not sure it may or may not ...

Re: **** COVID19 Life in the UK and English test centre closure **** (ONLY discuss here)

For people whose visa is about to expire: You can get the visa extended until end of May 2020 or you can apply for a new application and you will be protected under section 3C. There is no solution but to apply as normal and upload the evidence later when you can :!: Dear Zimba, is there any indica...

Re: Main applicant eligible for ILR, Covid-19 delay, UK born dependant children and Mrs visa expiring next month.

A UK born child does not require a valid visa to apply for citizenship. UK born children have an entitlement to register as British (cannot be refused). The issue you will have is access to free NHS service once their visa expire. Is is a confirmed issue for everyone or a potential risk? Do we know...

Re: Covid 19 - Life in the UK test Centre Closure

My wife was due to take her LITUK test on 16-Apr, but today it has been postponed to 21-May. Our visa expires on 9-Jun so we are quite anxious about what we can do. Having the evolution of Covid-19, I expect the test will be postponed yet again. Moreover, even if we intend to apply for ILR, the UKVC...
