Re: Applying for Irish citizenship with mortgage abroad

No, your financial obligations like mortgage or another type of consumer loan will not impact your application for naturalisation. Only repayments related to criminal prosecution or conviction have to be disclosed. However if you spent six or more weeks outside of Ireland in any year since becoming ...

It's not just numbers as each team have different tasks / speciality in the naturalization process.
I was told by a lawyer that each team does specific action and I'm trying to see if anyone came across that info
Amazing lawyer  All these teams are the same.

Re: Can I travel without GNIB but I have visa on my passport

Certificate of naturalisation is not and has never been a travel or identity document.

Your passport is your identity and travel document. If you have an Irish visa, or a passport that does not require entry visa for Ireland, it will be enough.

Re: Original birth certificate for first passaport

Some countries, including mine, do not release the original birth certificate which seems to be required for the first passport. We just get an e-copy with the signature of the officer and the office stamp, which you can then print at home. If this is a standard process of getting a replacement bir...

Hmmm.... you guys need to send your complaints, allegations and frustration to the passport office as a feedback. Otherwise this topic will turn into a platform for hysterical whining, false accusations and laughable absurdity. Some of the things you have said on here are just ridiculous.

I'm wondering what I would do if I had an emergency abroad. They claim you can ask for it to be returned for an emergency, but has anyone actually tried that? Do they pick out and handle those emails and ignore the rest? They never ignore emails as long as it's related to their team and always repl...

You can't. Passport application will be refused if your daughter is not an Irish citizen. You must have at least 3 years of physical residence in Ireland in the last 4 years in order for her to be eligible to apply for naturalisation. Irish birth certificate is not a proof of Irish citizenship. If y...

Re: Citizenship Applications - 5 Year Residence and 3 Year's Married to Irish Citizen

They don't give all data related to the application for some reason. I requested my file after receiving the decision, to see what has been done. There was no Garda report at all, and the copy of the referee's letter was missing (my friend was contacted to give a short reference about me). Just wait.
