Re: Bank Statement missing Help

To answer your original query below, if you do not include a months statement, then that month's earnings can't be verified. Thus, HO will consider the remaining 11 earnings in the consecutive 12 month period to see if you meet the earnings criteria. If you meet the requirement will 11 months statem...

Re: Need Help ...

Yes, there are have been rejections in the past. One of my friends from IIML applied to NARIC for letter of equivalency and it got declined saying that it was not equivalent to British Masters. He nevertheless applied for an HSMP without the NARIC letter and was given points for Masters! The good th...

Re: Need Help ...

@chetanojha - This is incorrect. IIMs issue Post Graduate Diplomas in Management (PGDM) and these are equivalent to British Masters. My case is an example wherein I got the certification of equivalency done by NARIC in 2007. Moreover, the PGDMs issued by IIMs are now recognized on the Points Calcula...

Sponsorship of family visitor visas

Hi Folks, I am looking to invite my parents (from India) and sister (from USA) for a visit to the UK. I am currently on the HSMP visa, and think that a Family Visitor visa will be appropriate for them. My query is with regard to the number of visitors I can sponsor in particular time frame. Is it ok...

This could be because UKBA is still processing applications received before 1st April rule changes. I think once that batch is over with, they will have relatively lesser applications and would again look to process early extensions. Anyways, let's hope for the best :) looks like HO is clamping down...

Autocrazy, I suggest you write to BIA on their email address and ask them this query. Their response will be the 'proof' you are looking for. autocrazy, I to agree with Chetan. Though there is no link (cannot find any thing) but many of my friends got ILR by the same route. I know some one who got I...

Hi psdesai,

My HSMP expires in mid Dec 09 and I intend to apply for extension under Tier 1 (General) in mid Sep 09. As I have to travel in Dec, I will state that as the reason and hope it'll fly with HO.

Though it sounds alright, you will have to do a lot of paperwork in case the INR salary is credited to a non-UK bank account, i.e., get bank statements from the non-UK Bank, payslips from India office of your company. I was in this situation a few years ago. Avoid it if you have a choice as it cause...

Yes, you can come anytime before your visa expires though it would make sense if you were to come atleast a year before it does so that you have some UK earnings to show. Also the market conditions are quite grim. I wouldn't advise that you quit your job in India and come here unless you already hav...

If I were you, I would check the quivalence of my Diploma degree with UK equivalence (even if the University is present in PBS). A university can award multiple degrees but not all are equivalent to UK degrees. Generally Diplomas are considered as 10+3 (which is not Bachelors Degree). Other diploma...

So my question is - Though I am a HSMP holder in the UK, do I still need to inform Home Office about this job change ...
