The baby gets BC only if you are an ILR holder.

As for benefits, it's whatever the EC page on your passport says and I m pretty sure it's a big "No recourse to public funds".

Are you in UK? I thought you already received an answer to your query in a previous post.

Your earlier post

basically you need to score 75 points to gain an extension mate. Your pay packet should be in the range such that it facilitates this.

Hello, My cousin is here in the UK on a Holiday Workmaker Visa, he will be completing 12 months in December, and has 12 months left. As per the new tier system introduced, I am aware that this Visa no longer exists. My question is: Can he still convert or switch to a work permit from within the UK?...

Though the difference isn't much, he may very well be questioned about it . If it's a genuine case of pay cut because of say the economic climate, he should get a letter from the employer to this effect, which again might be difficult to obtain.

I don't get it. You say you received UK per diem while you were in Turkey ? Was that GBP? How can you get payslips for per diem? because that's what it's supposed to be, per diem and not salary. You were on a business visa and if you have worked on that visa, then you have most likely flouted the vi...

You must be kidding me. Don't you read the news. The UK housing and construction industry is facing its worst slump in decades. Thousands of jobs have and are being lost. Better to stick with your job in India until the situation here becomes normal.

It costs around 5 to 10 grand (in Indian rupees), I reckon. It depends on the level of cover your parents require , age and health c...

That's exactly what the OP has done. He has produced false bank statements due to which his WHM was rejected. I m afraid it could be another refusal for him unless the ECO ignores his previous deception.

I read the closed consultation notes on BIA website. On voluntary work, it's been stated that they won't make it mandatory but if anyone engages in such community service, then it would hasten their path to citizenship. What's not clear though is how's the amount of volunteering going to be gauged a...

Yes you can. There is no restriction on taking up a part time job to go along with your full time job. But you may need to inform your current employer about the part time job if it is specified in your appointment letter that you ought to.

I.e. you can travel to France for several days, then come back for another 180 maximum, and then travel to Spain etc., and come back to UK for another 180 maximum. Wishful thinking. The visitor may get away with it once or twice but they can and probably will be refused entry as it would be constru...
