affidavit for birth certificate irish passport application

Hi Can someone help please? I have been asked to provide an original copy of my birth certificate for my Irish passport application. However, im a refugee and can’t get back to my country to get a copy nor can someone get it for me. My question would an affidavit be acceptable in this case? Thanks

Need help please So for refugees no need to pay the €950 fees but should we still register online for payment,? Need help please


So for refugees no need to pay the €950 fees but should we still register online for payment,?

I was trying to do what but whenever i press submit form it tells me “unauthorised” so I can submit it.

Does anyone know what’s going on??

No haven’t got anything posted to my address nor by email. Only my solicitor got the approval letter but I need the declaration form so that I can fill it and send it back to them. It’s very strange!

My e vetting tracking says” Application awaiting review by registered organisation” and it’s been like that for the last 3 days.

Is it the same for yours?

How long does it take for the whole vetting to be completed, After filling up your details in the email you get from the Garda?


Anyone got an approval after that or is the journey still going

Do you think they ate going to give us decision when asked for an up to date garda report? I have exactly same case as you Zoie. I received the form a month ago filled it up and sent it back to the department. I still haven’t received the email or even a confirmation email.

E vetting and citizenship application

Hi After applying for a JR as a result of long delay. I got E vetting from nationalisation department to sign it up. I am wondering did anyone get the same? Any one know if this is a good sign they are in the late stage of processing? I have been waiting for very long time and I’m really stressed :(
