Yes, you'd have to be careful about the criteria for extension but it's not prohibited.

Question - presumably the fees will be international student fees?

I'm not sure about remittance, but it seems that if your salary slips and letter from your employer have the company's name on it that will do. Is your employer's name as stated on those documents the same as the name of your foreign employer?

Visa application. Does being employed or unemployed matter?

When applying for a visa to enter the UK on HSMP status, there is a section 'Current finances and employment' on the application form. I was wondering if it makes a difference if the applicant is employed or unemployed? Then again, employed full-time or employed part-time? Does it matter? I'm employ...

The other thing that you may need to consider that govt is proposing to change the citizenship rules in the near future. Based on the proposals, the ILR will not be granted after 5 years. Instead there will be two routes... one will be to take up the probationary citizenship for at least one year a...

University fees with LTR?

Hi,

I'm pretty new to all these and was wondering what kind of university fees a non-EU national with LTR would have to pay if intending to enter Irish universities? Would it be the same as Irish citizens?

Thanks!

Would you mind elaborating on that, please? Good different or bad different?

Juan,

Thanks for the advice. I hope that everything works out for you. I would like to add though, that your visa should still be valid and you can continue to apply for jobs from ecuador if you still want to. Might get something interesting!

Can someone with ILR in the UK work in the rest of the EU too? Without having to apply for work permits in the other EU countries?

Thanks Nshar1. Yes, that's a great idea. We should compile a list of good and unscrupulous agents here.

I retract that. It's against the rules.

call up the HO and ask them to check whether your application is in their system already and ask your bank to notify you immediately when the payment has been charged. then follow-up with both.

How do you know who your case worker is?

Hi,

I checked out MBE Sheffield's website for the courier collection of the documents and realized that the case worker's name and extension number are required.

How and when do we get these details?

Thanks!

Wage slips signed and stamped?

Hi,

I was wondering if it's simply a signature and the general company stamp? Or should it be a specific stamp for example a HR department stamp? Should there also be the person's designation and name?
