Both are healthy, but kids being kids, who would they see if they became ill? For Example: a flu or eye infection? I'm sure most things can be resolved...

The forms are self explanatory. Each of the forms explains the category of visitors that should use them. As you are inviting a family member (Cousin), VAF 1B ic the right form. Sorry my mistake! Its my wife's brother & his wife / 2 kids that we are looking to sponsor - still VAF1B? If the latest f...

I have an aunt who is visiting the UK. She holds a British Overseas Passport.

We are going to France for the weekend next month - would she be able to come along with us?

Does she have to get a French visa?

How long before someone can I apply for a Visitor visa to UK

Quick question. Have a relative that I sponsored to visit us - even though he was granted a 6 month visa, he could only come to the UK for 6 weeks. He would like to return for a little longer sometime in the future, this time with family...100% genuine visitor - wanting to return back home after a f...

Fax them through straight away to AIT, with an explanaotory note that the originals will be dropped of on Tuesday morning. It should give the Adjudicator enough time to look at them, but would it give enough time for the HO rep too?. I dont know, they can be a funny lot sometimes. The actual centre i...

AIT Hearing! Have I messed up?

Due to be attending an AIT hearing (as sponsor for a relative who was denied a visitor visa) Some of the paperwork I was going to submit arrived late - so I contacted the AIT who said it would be OK to drop of the file 2-3 days before the hearing. Was going to do it on Monday 25th May. Just realised...

Anyone?

He does work for a bank - but failed to mention this.

Should he have stated this, and used the above stuff as 'additional income /assets' etc.

Any ideas on how to go about an appeal?

Thats really a trick question. If his financial statements are good, then he should forcefully mention the pregnancy, to get the attention of the compassionate side of the ECO, on the other hand, if his financial situation is shaky, he is better off not saying it. More often than not, its a good th...

I've spoken to my mate - he has decided to reapply - the appeals waiting list is jam-packed and AIT are hinting it could be September 09 as a minimum before a hearing date. All his paperwork is in order and he is 100% confident of success. But in the 'additional notes' section of the new application...

Re: Spouse Visa Rejected - NOT 'Compelling & Compassion

(Also, what would his child status be if it is born in the YEmen - and his wife wins her appeal - would the child be allowed to come to the UK). If he is British otherwise than by descent (e.g. was born in the UK), then his child is British by descent. Else, he may register his child within 12 mont...

Spouse Visa Rejected - NOT 'Compelling & Compassionate'

Hi guys. Quick summary. A friend applied for a spouse visa for his wife to come from the Yemen to UK. It was rejected on 2 counts (He FORGOT to send them the divorce certificate and sent in the wrong bank statements which showed him overdrawn) - both basic errors and worthy of him getting slapped! H...
