what option does he have to stay in the country?
Find another job during curtailment period/return back to home country and apply for a visa again, as he did for the current one.

Re: How long does it take to get the first time passport application?

I used a certified copy of my certificate That might be a problem. When I applied (October), they couldn't verify the cooy of cert -> if you sent a copy, you would've been asked to send an original anyway. Hopefully they fixed it already, but it might still happen! Hopefully it won't be a problem. ...

Re: Standard Visitor Visa Rejected

What documents need to attach for getting the visa? There's no magic documents that will help you. The whole situation is assessed. - you are single, a student, no children - nothing to return to in India. - you want to spend 3000 pounds on a trip - where does this money come from? The chances for ...

Re: Passport Application Discussion 2022

Does anyone know for passport application if it is acceptable for the Garda to certify the documents (original passport) when witnessing the identification form, or is certification by a solicitor/notary public necessary? Why do you need to certify your passport? You either send an original passpor...

Re: Mistakenly changed Visa category from PBS dependent to FLR M

1) I don't think so, what's done is done. 2) No; children born outside UK follow the path of less privileged parent -> your daughter can only apply for ILR after/with your wife. The simplest option for your wife might be to wait until 2025 when she can apply via 10 year route (assuming criteria are ...

We cannot fill the form for you. You'd need to do it yourself (or hire someone, but it's EXTREMELY unnecessary and may be harmful).

Start filling out the form.

Re: GTV extension (only part of my new contract period)

Could you kindly confirm whether transitioning from the GTV to the SWV would reset the minimum residency period required for indefinite leave to remain? It will not reset the time per se as time spent on GTV counts for SWV, but as you'll be on SWV, which requires 5 years towards settlement, you'll ...

Re: Bulgarian citizen EU problem after brexit

what should i do ? On what basis are you working? Do you have no leave? If so, that's trouble, as you're an overstayer and working illegally. The most logical idea would be for your employer to sponsor you, you'd return to Bulgaria and apply for Skilled Worker visa from there, but they absolutely c...

If you switched to 10 year route and back, that means your 5 year period starts from scratch, from when you got your second 5 year route visa.

Don't tag your questions on others' topics.

Most likely, she would have to find a visa in her own right (eg find a sponsored job).

Very unlikely, to be honest.

Your better option is to apply for a passport where you are/go to home country and travel back to UK with it.

@Noshiusman topic split - discuss your situation in your own topic.

If you don't have a valid IRP card, you can leave the country but you won't be able to return - airlines won't let.you on the plane back.

The work permit is not sufficient to enter Ireland?
No.
You need to apply for a visa via your local Irish embassy/send documents to Dublin (depending on procedures in place) to get a visa placed in your passport. Once you have a visa, you arrive to Ireland on that visa and apply for IRP there.

Re: Reactivation permit (no longer qualify for GEP)

I thought reactivation permit was moreso focused on individual rather than employer if employee is doing application directly I would expect so too, but a) a person was paid significantly less than the threshold by this company, b) had renewal rejected due to this and c) got put into this position ...

Re: How long does it take to get the first time passport application?

I'm wondering if the current turnaround times are still correct. It says that in 20 working days a first time ppasport application is finalised. It's often correct, but! they tend to ask for missing documents at the end of this timeline, which adds another month. So gather your documents carefully ...

Re: Reactivation permit (no longer qualify for GEP)

Not an expert on GEP, but to me that looks like a way to essentially circumvent the immigration system - if we can't qualify for GEP, we will terminate and re-hire them under REP. They were already paid below market, as GEP was 30000. Wouldn't expect that to fly.

You can check your details on the ISD portal I think (when you filled out your invitation) - maybe have a glance there/copy things from there?
