No need to do a TB test for visitors.

All documents will be seen by caseworker, not crucial where you put them.

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

In which line?

Since they have a pile of papers that are in random order (one that you print out and they sign it at the ceremony) and they have to check if you've got it signed, I'd assume that's what they're going off of - these papers.

Every visitor visa is a new visa, there's no renewal for visitor visas.
You do everything from scratch.

Re: Help Please !!!

I didn't mention any timelines - in just saying that you cannot, unfortunately, come up to UKVI and ask them "my solicitor said it's straightforward, give me the decision", as they're legally within their timeline. Also, what information do you expect people to provide besides what's already given i...

Re: Apply outside or inside?

Person B fulfills (100%) all criteria (details in my previous post) for a Family Visa First if all, not all criteria are outlined on this specific page - it's split into sections. There's also a requirement to provide knowledge of English (do a test or if they did a degree in English, get it accred...

Re: Help Please !!!

Topics split - please don't tag into random people's posts.

It's UKVI who decides if it's straightforward or not. You can try to follow up on it after 6 months have passed eity no decision.

Re: travel before decision

No - her application will be treated as withdrawn.
34K. Where a decision on an application for permission to stay has not been made and the applicant travels outside the common travel area their application will be treated as withdrawn on the date the applicant left the common travel area.

Re: Apply outside or inside?

You cannot apply for a spouse visa if you're in the UK as a visitor - https://www.immigrationboards.com/post2133894.html#p2133894. When person B will go to UK, they will be considered a visitor there (since UK allows visa free visit for their passport for tourism ). They would not be able to apply f...

Re: Apply outside or inside?

Both Persons A and B (sorry, see first post again) could enter the UK in December, then Person B could apply 'inside', but still stay in the UK for 2 years and 9 months. I do not understand how do you think it is feasible. Person B, assuming they're going there just on the strength of their EU pass...

If so, can they leave the UK a day after the application has been submitted online? If they do so, their application will be considered withdrawn and they'll lose the fee. Re: Apply outside or inside?

Hi meself2, That webpage is a bit confusing because it says in the section "APPLY AS A PARTNER OR SPOUSE", and under the section: "HOW LONG YOU CAN STAY" (on the same page) it says, quote: "You can stay in the UK for 2 years and 9 months on this visa." Again, on the same page, it is only if they're...

Point 3rd -> This is still depend on UK as the child is British citizen and entering UK on foreign passport with BRP. So I would still like to check on point 1 and 3 and any expert can answer. If you explain the situation at the UK border control, you're fine - they can not let a British citizen (w...

Re: Bachelor degree equivalent

It will not be an automatic exemption from English for you either way. Even if it is considered as equivalent, you would still have to go through Ecctis to confirm it; also I don't know how can you confirm that you were taught this in English. My advice would be to do a SELT then hinging your profic...
