Heres the link: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingintheuk/tier1/general/waitingtimes/ NM: My fees was deducted on the 14th too, and I have not received the reference number either. Since our cases are so close together it would be good to keep in touch about each other's statuses. Good luck!

Hey Mah, The PBS summary sheet is a nice to have enclosure as right in the beginning the case-worker can understand your situation and knows what to expect in the documentation. It is also a good idea to attach a self addressed special delivery envelope, as times have been turbulent with the Royal M...

Even if you could do that I wont really recommend anyone to go down that path, since then we will have a one to many relationship between candidates and appointments. Anyways I suspect many people just book appointments to have an option and then cancel it very close to the date of the appointment. ...

When was your fees deducted?

You can only work in the Uk and Northern Ireland on a Tier1 visa. I am not sure which visa you will need to work in Switzerland, but definitely not Tier1.

Google should help!

Sure there is. Go for some known international couriers.

I sent my initial HSMP application by TNT. You can also use DHL/UPS if you want.

No, you wont have to send it again for the extension application. Just mention the same in your cover letter and the summary sheet at the end of the application.

Hey Imran,

Thanks for taking the trouble of actually getting the facts from the horse's mouth on this one, and updating the forum on the same.

So I guess the best way for new applicants is to go for Royal Mail Special Delivery!!!

Well for once I did the safest thing and attached a self addressed RM SD envelope. So I guess I am covered for the strike, making a huge assumption that everything will go well! :)

Hi Duvvuri,

This has been discussed in the forum a couple of times earlier. Please have a look at:

It is always a good idea to have a quick search before starting a new thread.

Hi Prabhus,

Thanks for the tip.

When I go online, there is a section in the left called Card details, in that there is a credit balance number, but for me it does not reflect the fees being debited, would it reflect in there, or would i have to call the bank for an update?

Well when I applied for initial HSMP I also faced the problem that HO officials wont sign and so many couriers wont accept it.

I used Mailboxes Etc to get around this problem. They are really good and fast, you might speak to Frank at MBE.

Well my understanding is Special delivery and recorded delivery would still work. In case you have used any of these methods you should be fine.

Maybe other members can confirm my understanding on this.

Hey gotcha, How you doing, not heard from you in a long time. Anyways, it does not work that way in LLoyds bank online credit card statements. I have heard it works that way for hsbc and many of my friends have been able to determine if their payments were successful using this method. Alas! Cheers

Well unless you are expecting the case worker to have memorized the form, you would have to include the index. There have been questions about whether we should attach irrelevant sections, like for my case Section 3A and 3B, but for good measure I have sent that as well. So better send the entire fo...
