Re: Change of Name while applying British Passport

Any inputs please sysnerul and other forum members: I am actually looking for advice from you. My case is a bit different, my wife's current Indian passport is on her maiden name. We were planning to get her British passport in her married name, using a deed poll. Subsequently the plan was to get an...

Re: December 2013 - Naturalization timeline

Congrats TTOE mate. So what did you choose for your wife, maiden name or married name on the certificate? In my wifes case its going to be her maiden name, but when applying for passport we will be using deedpoll to get it in her married name.

Not getting through to an advisor on that number today, either option 2 or 3, some lady just says all advisors are busy and the call gets disconnected. Anyone else trying with more luck? Am I doing the right things?

Re: December 2013 - Naturalization timeline

I had sent a special delivery envelope with my application through NCS, just so that the approval can get to me faster. When I went for lunch this afternoon, I found a brown envelope at the doorstep which got my heart racing. When I opened the envelope I found a letter saying special delivery envelo...

Re: November 2013 - Naturalization Application Timeline

My theory based on recent events, is HO has allocated separate teams of CWs for each month Oct, Nov, Dec etc, hence the approvals are coming in parallel and not in a sequence.

This is a great move if its true.

Re: Naturalisation payment slip

Hi pasha44,

Yes somehow write both names in the same space. You need to fill only one form, £1550 for the joint application.
