Congrats Prabhus, and thanks for promptly updating the thread. My case is absolutely like you, except the payment which went in on the 14th. Would you mind PM'ing me your reference number, so I can get an idea where might application might be in processing? Can you also update the poll on which day ...

Hi Sankar, I am not one to put a long list of Dos and Donts on the forum. My advice comes from first hand experience. I have always worn a suit at all the rounds of interview and have never experienced any negative effects of doing the same. My take is if you are good technically you can go dressed ...

Thats an amazing idea Ramesh. Anyways he will lose around 2 days while the application waits for payment and gets to the actual case-worker. It would be good to try start parallel processing while he awaits the bank statement. I am assuming he would be sending a signed and stamped copy anyways, just...

Hey Duvvuri,

Busybee did the same thing, and got his approval today. Maybe you should go for it after all.

Maybe Busybee can comment on how he did his best to make sure it didnt get rejected?

Well Duvvuri, this is exactly the kind of information Trackitt provides. We wanted to create a poll something more subtle but more useful when you are waiting for your decision. I admit, it makes more sense to have the poll for the total number of working days taken to process the application, but w...

Congrats busybee. Good move to go with postal order, I lost around a week in the payment process. Now enjoy your success:). When was your current visa expiring? Did they issue you a visa from the date of application or from the date of your current visa expiry. Have you participated in the poll http...

www.spammer.com/uk-immigration-trackers Its a user-run site giving people an idea about the timelines etc at any given point in time. However, it does not have any section on when the HO posts documents back to us. Also I observe members do not fill in all the information in their cases so many time...

yep me neither, this poll is actually for people who have their extensions approved, and would help people like me, ID and nm who are waiting on their decisions. So I would like to request members in the former category to please take some time out to vote in the poll, as this would help innumerous ...

Hi Duvvuri, my current leave is expiring on 1st dec 2009 and can my wife apply later i mean after she return from India. In that case I do not think she will be able to enter the UK after the 1st December, as her visa would have expired by that time. In tht case i have to pay the whole fees instead ...

Hi Myegin, The poll should be really about on which day did the HO post the documents, because the say on which you recieve the documents totally depends on the method you have used to get the documents, for example: 1) Nothing. In which case the HO sends it by recorded delivery which may take anyth...

Nice finding ID.

Maybe we can have a poll where people who have got their decisions can post on which day the docs were posted by the HO, and so can have some empirical data on the same.

This would help people expecting their decisions relax on at least some days of the week:).

Hi there, If they did not have a stamp, maybe you could have taken a letter from them on their official letterhead with details on the payslips issued by them to you. Well the HO does accept online bank statements stamped and signed by the bank. But if using for maintenance purpose I would also suggest getting a letter from the bank stating that in the maintenance period your minimum balance was so and so amount. I was facing the same issue before I sent my appli...

Well its for cases where dependants apply separately from the main applicant. If you are applying with your dependent the answer would be NO.

Good luck ID, with some luck you should have news this week. Some people who applied in your timeframe got their decisions last week, so keep fingers crossed!

I am assuming you went with self addressed RM SD envelope?
