In my case, the approval was given on 11th, and the letter reached me on the 20th. So please allow for 1-2 weeks for the letter to arrive.

I am not quite convinced thats true. The rush in October was because the language requirements were being made stricter, so people rushed to get naturalised before that happened. You can get a deed poll done, get it signed by a witness and take to your NCS appointment or send in with your application if applying by post. Also from the timelines on this thread they seem to take upto a week to send the application to ips whereas if you apply yourself it reaches next day. does not make any sense...

TTOE, special delivery? Theres an option in the form to pay extra for secure delivery of supporting docs. I went for that option.

Well thats what I did and sent my application yesterday. Hope its ok. .

Quick update, private ceremony over on 24th February, sent passport application yesterday, for myself and wife. Applying for her passport in her married name, using a deed poll.

I would like to thank the forum for being so helpful, really helps calm the nerves.
