As a spouse of a British citizen you have to be in the UK 3 years before you can apply for British citizenship. Do I need to take the test again? My wife applied my naturalisation a month or so ago and even though she ticked...

Dunno about single bed, but I don't think there is a requirement to sleep in the same room. I know a few families where husband and wife sleep in separate rooms due to husband's loud snoring...

Something you both need to consider is that when you come to apply for ILR in a couple of years time you need 20 letters or other documents ideally addressed to you jointly from at least 5 different sources spread over the whole 2 years. If you've thrown all y...

The referee may be contacted and interviewed so you do need to choose someone who really does know your husband. Knowing the referee just sociably is fine. The list of acceptable referees is on this link, and teachers are on the list http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/policyandla...

My wife posted her application by special delivery (not via NCS) on the 26th Feb, and got confirmation yesterday that they had received it. So it had taken about 3 weeks.

Just provide them with the address of the accommodation (hotel, etc) that you are intending to book. If you don't end up booking that accommodation (it's full or you change your mind) it doesn't seem to matter.

So you are saying that your husband has been claiming a single person discount on your council tax bill and you’ve only rectified it after you received the letter from the HO. I suspect the HO have realised this (maybe they spoke to your local council, or worked it out from the amount of the direc...
