Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Just got a reply from the person processing my application. It’s approved and is in the queue for printing. Standard spiel about Brexit delay etc etc, but is good to finally here that it is due to be printed and has been approved. Congrats Valo especially on navigating the estranged parent issues! ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

That sounds very odd. Not one I've heard of before. The thing is, since FBR is on the basis of a grandparent, you'd very likely I'm guessing absolutely 100% need a birth certificate for that grandparent you are claiming on behalf of. I'd defo appeal it if you can though. Also, just out of curiosity...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Today, my two children received their emails asking for address confirmations. They mailed shared documents for their two applications in one envelope. No guarantee of successful application is promised for either one; do they always say that? Applications submitted online: 04 Jan 2022 Docs receive...

Re: Passport Application Discussion 2022

Do they usually give tracking numbers when they dispatch the passport, card and the original documents? My passport book has been dispatched today but I can't find any tracking info on the page. Yes, but it takes a few days for the tracking info to populate. Wait a few days, it should show up. Just...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

For those that have received a congratulatory email, but have yet to receive their certificate, are you still able to apply for a passport? Also I believe there is a form FBR citizens need to send off to Dublin after their online passport application. Can anyone share this with me? I can’t find it,...

Got my confirmation of address email on the 14th Dec, and have heard nothing since! Starting to get a little anxious about it, I won't lie. I wonder what's taking so long!
More than likely it's just due to the holidays and vacations etc.

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Thanks...I've tried this at home but the photos weren't being accepted. I think they were too dark and when I used extra lights the PassportOnline website didn't like the shadows. This is why I'm looking for a professional shop to get it done...unless there are other suggestions for doing at home. ...

I've received my Foreign Birth Registration Certificate and I'm looking to apply online. I live in the USA...any ideas on who offers passport photo services that include digital photos? Re: Requirement to send foreign passport with application for IE passport

The documentation says to send our foreign passport "if we have it" with our application for an initial Irish passport. As we have some travel coming up (quite a bit of it) and will be out of the country for a while, we didn't want to risk not getting our US passports back before the travel starts....

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Probably an impossible question to answer but... I am a Sept 22 applicant - what are the predications that I will hear back sometime next year? I've seen November and December 2021 applications get their confirmation of address email on here so I'd wager there is a decent chance you'll hear back in...

Re: Passport Application Discussion 2022

Re: Passport application proof of address

My naturalization certificate has my old address. The proof of address and proof of name I submitted in my first time passport application have my new address. Will this discrepancy be a problem? I got my passport recently, after doing FBR not naturalization, but I don't think they're comparing add...
