Thank you shs123 for replying..

I wasn't aware if I should use form SET(M) too? isn't that only if applying to settle here as the husband, wife, civil partner or unmarried/same-sex partner of a British citizen or someone who is settled here?

Thank you

Thank you for your reply. I have successfully found P60's from 2006 to 2009(yet to receive 2010) No major earnings on P60's in 2006 and 2008 due to losing job in early 2008 and didn't have a job start of 2006. Currently employed and getting letters from this current employment should not be an issue...

So in the new form under Immigration history in 6.1 you would put the date as entered in the UK which is applicable to the current application or would you put a date no matter under which category you first entered the UK?

What If I don't have my P60's, is there an alternative?
Would Bank Statements for the 4 years be a good substitute?

I still think this should only be relevant to the application.
As 6.2 is linked with 6.1 I assume.
Someone coming in 1990 for whatever reason has to mention that in 6.2?

I am wondering if there is any solution to this...otherwise it just means that if the maintenance fund of £800 can not be shown at all times then there is actually no point in applying for extension and wasting £750...

If any of you have any sugestions, please help.

Thank you

I have just spoken to BIA and they have confirmed that if at any given time the bank balance dips below £800 in the three month prior to application, we are not eligible to apply for extension under the new tier 1. I really cannnot believe that it has come to this and they cannot do anything abt it...

URGENT - MAINTAINENCE FUNDS.QUERY

Dear all I am finding it hard to understand the Maintainence Funds category. I have to extend the exisitng HSMP VISA in May and after the new rules it states a minimum maintance balance of £800 to be maintained at all times. So if my end balance "balace carried forward" is £800 and above would not...
