the HO can get a record of NI contributions and from that can easily distinguish how many hours some one is working. remember students do not pay tax + NI if they work 20 hrs a week and until they reach a threshold. After they reach that threshold they would start paying taxes and NI. So if some on...

How?

Your assertion simply does not stack up given the fact that HMRC does not keep a record of hours worked.

You could phone them and request stamped statements, which they then send to you.

You won't get anywhere arguing the point with UKBA or anyone else, if you don't meet the requirements your visa will be refused.

A stamp is just that, a rubber stamp which is pressed in ink then applied to the paper.

Your bank's logo is not a stamp.

Also, don't take any risks on such matters, many people have been refused for not exactly meeting ther requirements in regards to bank statements.

1) UKBA do not cross check the NI number with HMRC (unless policy has changed quite recently)
2) Even if they did, how can they use it to prove how many hours somebody worked? HMRC knows how much the person was paid and how much tax was deducted, not how many hours they worked.

Looking at the data available on UKBA's site, there are around 1000+ Tier 1 PBS applications from India alone every month since April 2010. Even with a 25% approval rate, 250 qualify from India alone. 600 is a very small number if data from all other countries (Asian esp.) is added. One should not ...

It has not been stated or suggested anywhere that extensions will be subject to a criminal conviction check.

If you have lived together since she got here, I would expect you would be at or very close to the 2 year period required to qualify as an unmarried partner, unless she came some time after her visa start date. If she leaves on visa expiry (in fact she could stay up to an extra 28 days without penal...

If you can extend your current visa, that is the best option. What will make it difficult is you cannot apply a multiplier to any earnings, even if they were earned in India. For a new application you will need to qualify under the current rules (stricter earnings criteria), and have to deal with th...

Re: Please dont give out wrong advice.

If you are on Tier 2, that means you are earning your money in the UK not in India (even though you are paid in India as well)? Am I understanding your situation correctly? If this is the case, then you cannot use the uplift ratio. Most of the moderators and people on this board are giving wrong ad...
