Yes I stated it, in the end the date it got processed was one day later than the date I stated. However, I faxed them a couple of weeks ago (before it was processed) to move it forward, but I don't think that fax was attached to my application, as I did not get a copy of it back whereas I did get a ...

Changing start date of visa before use?

I just got a tier 1 visa from the Canberra BHC, with a start date beginning of June.

Can I get it changed to end of next month as I don't travel until then.

I thought I'd seen a post about this earlier but searched and couldn't find it.

If you say you are staying 3 months, you will almost definitely get a 6 month stamp.

Visitors generally get a 6 month stamp by default.

Yep f2k is correct, if have one of those limited time period visitor visa stamps (as ooposed to the 6 month one) you will definitely get asked more than the usual amount of questions on arrival. I had one and the immigration officer who gave it told me exactly that, sure enough next time I came thro...

Withdrawing Application - questions

I want to withdraw my Tier 1 application as I provided some information which could be portrayed as deception. I understand this is done by faxing the BHC, do I need to provide a reason and will the application be subject to any further scrutiny, or will it just be returned as is (unprocessed AFAIK)...

Re: Please help: Question about moving to New Zealand.

I currently live in Britain and on a work permit from the US. I have been thinking about NZ and it is a beautiful country. If I were to...
