Hi, Why don't you just include both sets of bank statements, rather than transferring from one account to the other? I had a current account, the account into which my salary was paid into and my expenses came out of. I also had a separate savings account into which I made regular deposits from my c...

I would advise asking for a copy of your file from the home office and seeing if the notification for the updated address was received and if the address has been recorded. Have a look at this.. >> http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/navigation/foi/ You can also write to: Immigration and Nationality Di...

The sponsor would need to show that he can financially "afford" to provide for the applicant and any dependants. If his bank statements are always overdrawn and he has very little or no savings, then it is obvious that he may not be able to support you and the ECO could refuse citing he/she believes...

Does anyone know which edition of the above book is the correct one? There appears to be several editions. Or even better, does anyone have the ISBN number of the correct book/edition?

Thanks

Hey Hum786, I don’t know why you can't get through; I never had a problem. The only thing I can suggest is to try ringing earlier, say around 8am. I used to ring at 8am UK time and I got through straight away. If you can't get through, then I'm sorry, (I know this isn't what you want to hear) but ...

Hey hum786, The number you would need to call is 0092 5120 98999. You need to have your husbands passport number and the ref number (the GRY-Pk or the QML number). Don't rely on just the phone number. Call the BHC on the number above, but also tell your husband to keep going to the VAC where he subm...

Cheers Ali!

How you doing anyway? Mrs Ali doing well too?

I hope you've been keeping all letters addressed to the lovely Mrs Ali ready for your ILR application in 2010...? I'm literally keeping EVERYTHING with his name, date and address on. Don't want to risk having too little, lol...!

I wouldn't worry about your statements being overdrawn. ILR is given provided that you can prove your are still living together in a genuine and subsisting marriage and that it was not one of convenience. The documents you provide help to prove that you are living together as all correspondence is a...

The only pages you would need certifying are the last two pages (the page with all the details). There is no need to certify the actual pages within the passport, unless they have been stamped with an exit/entry stamp. Any other pages will be blank and are of no use to the ECO.

I think it would be accepted, but you would need to make it CRYSTAL CLEAR to the ECO with a covering letter explaining the situation. If you will be in temporary (or any other form of) employment up until the contracted job starts, then I would enclose any payslips, employment letter etc for this pe...

I think your friend has no option but to apply for FLR. If he does nothing at all, when his wife’s 2 year spouse visa expires, without an extension (or application for an extension in progress), she will be regarded as an overstayer. Tell your friend to try and get as many documents/letters as he ...

I found the below from this source Note 7 We need 20 letters or other documents addressed to you jointly or in both your names. If you do not have enough items in your joint names, you may also provide items addressed to each of you individually if they show the same address for both of you. Example...

You could do it yourself. Take detailed (including measurements) photos of all the bedrooms, also pics of the Spam, living areas and bathroom(s). Then write a covering letter summarising the space/rooms available in the house and also state who is living at the property. You can also get an electrol...
