"Free from Immigration Control"...?

Hi, I was wondering when an individual can be classed as "Free from Immigration Control".. Is it when the individual has gained a specific status (ILR/Citizenship) or a combination of the status and a requirement to have been resident in the country for a specific number of years? Any info would be ...

P.S: I would have thought that the certificate/qualifcation used to obtain ILR would still be valid for naturalization as if the qualification was not deemed "suitable" at the time of iLR application, then ILR never would have been issued.. Basically, if it was valid and suitable for ILR, it should ...

After this date, if you are submitting an ESOL certificate for ILR or Citizenship, it has to be from an approved school or college. This is to prevent 'dodgy' establishments providing 'quicky' certificates...2 week courses for example, usually with high fees, which don't comply with the requirement...

Re: how much is enough for ILR evidence of finances?

employed and paying mortgages monthly. got some money in my current account and also a saving account. Wondering how much is generally enough for ILR evidence of finances. I think if you provide bank statment for at least the past 3 months, that would be sufficient to prove financial stability... E...

Previously, the HO did not accept ILR applications until you had reached 28 days before acheiving 2 years in the UK.. (ie, if you landed in UK March 29th 2008, you could not send off application before 1st March 2010). But if you entered the UK more than 28 days after the visa issued, your visa wil...

I read some where that I can face problems when applying for ILR if I have not entered in UK within 28 days of Visa grant. Is it true and if yes, why so? if your visa is valid for only 24 months for example it will expire before you can apply for ILR which you can do 28 days before the end of the 2...
