It's not me that needs the bank statements, it's AzimScot. I've already been through the spousal visa application process (for my husband) and than...

Passports can be photocopied but will need to be attested; the same for your birth certificate unless you are sending the ...

If you have an online accunt, then you can print out a statement and get it stamped by your bank. There is no need to get a solicitor to do it, plus the bank will do it for free. Of course this depends on who you have the online account with. Lloyds, Halifax, HSBC etc all have branches you can walk ...

Hi, Why don't you just include both sets of bank statements, rather than transferring from one account to the other? I had a current account, the account into which my salary was paid into and my expenses came out of. I also had a separate savings account into which I made regular deposits from my c...

I would advise asking for a copy of your file from the home office and seeing if the notification for the updated address was received and if the address has been recorded. Have a look at this.. >> http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/navigation/foi/ You can also write to: Immigration and Nationality Di...

The sponsor would need to show that he can financially "afford" to provide for the applicant and any dependants. If his bank statements are always overdrawn and he has very little or no savings, then it is obvious that he may not be able to support you and the ECO could refuse citing he/she believes...

Hey Hum786, I don’t know why you can't get through; I never had a problem. The only thing I can suggest is to try ringing earlier, say around 8am. I used to ring at 8am UK time and I got through straight away. If you can't get through, then I'm sorry, (I know this isn't what you want to hear) but ...

Hey hum786, The number you would need to call is 0092 5120 98999. You need to have your husbands passport number and the ref number (the GRY-Pk or the QML number). Don't rely on just the phone number. Call the BHC on the number above, but also tell your husband to keep going to the VAC where he subm...

I hope you've been keeping all letters addressed to the lovely Mrs Ali ready for your ILR application in 2010...? I'm literally keeping EVERYTHING with his name, date and address on. Don't want to risk having too little, lol...!
