Re: How is an application automatically withdrawn when travelling outside the UK when application is still under progres

We have consulted an expert immigration lawyer and they have advised not to leave UK when your application is with the Home Office else it would be cancelled.

If you want to be 100% sure, hire a lawyer yourself and ask them to pinpoint the relevant section of immigration laws which apply.

Re: Separated status -Applying Senior or Specilaist work Visa from India

Is the visa review process done in-house by your employer or by external para-legal experts?
Is its internal review then I would not give much weightage

Re: Separated status -Applying Senior or Specilaist work Visa from India

Your standalone application will not refused. I am not an expert at this. If you have got full custody,it should not create a problem but if the other parent has visitation rights then moving would create problem.

Yes, they have to reapply along with you.

Re: Tier 2 Visa Extension and New Born Child Visa

It is better to add your child's application to your application and you bear the cost of it. Standalone dependent application are not of immediate priority for the home office.

Re: I have a 10-year visitor’s visa. Would applying for Tier 2 cancel my Visitor’s visa?

Visa gives you permission to enter and not a right. There are many what if situations. Pandemic - visitor visas were suspended for many countries. You can't be a visitor and resident at the same time. You can apply for a visitor visa at the end of 5 years.

Biometric authentication at UKBA will not allow you to use both. One of them will be cancelled.

Average is 6 weeks, 8 weeks is the maximum to make a decision. It's up to you to wait for a week or escalate. You can call 0300 790 6268 - select options 2 -> 4 ->1 and then if your application is past their SLA, you can raise an escalation request (they will take some basic details from you such as...

Re: Highly skilled extension - UK ID app

BRP card is your permit to live in UK and is strictly not your identity document. Passport is your identity document. It would be a new application and it is not an ammendment to your old successfull application. They do have a history of all previous immigration application made. In any case, you w...
