Re: UK visa expires 31 May 2024, What is the latest UK entry date?

Hi Guys, and thank you for allowing me into the forum. I have a very basic question which I think I know the answer too, however I need to be clear in my mind 100%. My wife's UK visa (5 year, tourist) will expire on the 31 May 2024, I am guessing that she would be allowed entry up to but not beyond...

Re: General Visitor Visa question

I go with a different opinion from all of the above. Yes his chances are slim but not impossible. If you don't mind gambling with 6 months visa fee, the below are what you need. As a student, he needs a letter from the Dean of his faculty, stating what course and Uni he's at. The same letter can sta...

Re: Re-entry to Germany with a permanent residence permit after 6 months abroad

If unsure, why not travel to Poland, Czech, Netherlands or any of the bordering countries closer to your destination and take a train from there.
It's extra stress, but a way around the uncertainty.

Re: Effects of Visa Termination on Parents' Visitor Status

Hello, If my skilled worker visa is terminated by my employer after my parents' visitor visa has been approved, how might this affect their ability to enter the country? Could they potentially be stopped at immigration? It would have no bearing on the visit visa. Immigration can ask whatever questi...

Thanks.

How far back do I need to go with the correspondence / financial requirement evidence?

Our previous FLR application only required going back as far as 2 years prior to the application date.
Same 2 years applies. Some go back 2.5 years.

Re: Preparing ILR Application (SET M)

Hi, My wife qualifies for ILR under SET M within the next few weeks. She passed her Life in the UK Test around a month ago. Other than the Life in the UK Test requirement, it seems like a ILR Application under SET M is very similar to the Spouse Visa / FLR Applications we have submitted in the past...

You're applying to become British, not English! It really doesn't matter where you reside in the United Kingdom. How you see yourself afterwards is now entirely up to you.

Are they intending to get married? Having a girlfriend in a foreign country doesn't count for much.

Re: Spouse Visa Extension Finances

Your screenshot is a bit hazy, but from memory you would have to fill details in different column for combined income. For applicant, name, NI, salary, place of work, designation or so. Then you do the exact same for your spouse. The CW would understand what you've done. Just make sure that you have...

That card is as tough as it comes. It takes a lot of pressure to even cut it up with a scissors.

I agree that it is definitely a deliberate act of aggression on the poor card.

Re: permission to travel/letter of consent

As far as the HO is concerned, the child is a British Citizen. A Brit cannot be issued a visiting visa to the UK. Some other countries like the US wouldn't even allow an American to enter the US with a different passport. The child would rightly need a British passport or a CoERoA on a Thai passport...

Not sure why anyone would want to risk 10 days early? Once you make the application and don't receive a response for the next 2 years, what would you do then?

1 year after ILR is the proper way to go. What happens happens when you don't adhere to the simple rule. Naturalisation is not a guarantee.

Re: NHS fees from previous visit -UK Visitor Visa

If you've kickstarted the payment process, that shows you're reliable. If you've paid more than 50%, it helps. At this point, it's a 50/50 chance.

To increase your chances, why not use the money to pay for their next trip and offset the NHS fees?

Better to finish paying before applying again.
