Re: Visit VISA Refusal - next steps

First visit probably keep to about 4weeks. And will suggest you leave a bit of time before reapplying else can be taken as desperation. At this point I'll probably go less to 10-14 days. Mentioning almost 6 months as a visit has that name flagged on the system already. People keep making this mista...

Re: Standard Visitor Visa United Kingdom

Just to add to what has been said. Your brother should fully sponsor her using his account. She can attach hers as part of the package, he would need to attach 6 months bank statement and payslips to back it up. Plus a letter depicting all scenarios including monthly stipends sent to her. You brothe...

Hello everyone, My wallet got stolen and my BRP was in it 😭 (I know, will never make that mistake again ), the issue is my passport is expired, I have applied for a new one but it will pass the 3month window before my biometrics appointment, also the brp replacement form is not allowing expiry date...

Please note that it is only permitted to apply for an Irish visa to the Embassy of Ireland in London if you are legally resident in the UK. You may also have to provide your biometric information, such as your fingerprints and photograph. If you do, you must do it at the same place you submit your a...

Re: Another question about PCNs

I'm reading numerous threads on this issue. I've had 4 Penalty Charge Notices in all my driving history of 10 years (no FPNs), all issued by local Councils. 1 for making a prohibited u-turn, 1 for parking in a loading bay and 2 for driving in a bus lane. 3 out of these 4 were when driving other peo...

Re: Citizenship Ceremony 6 march, travel on 6 April to Turkey.

You will need to apply for your British passport before you travel. Standard processing time is 3 weeks and current average waiting times for first adult passports are 2 weeks, so you should be fine. Naturalisation certificate is not a travel document and they may not let you board a plane without ...

Hi, My son has born in India and living with me for last 7 years. First 4 years in ICT and last 2.5 years in FLR. He is eligible for ILR in next 2.5 years. His clock cycle has been reset after getting FLR. So he needs to wait for another 2.5 years. Meanwhile Indian government is not allowing to ren...

I see social work on the list but what about a carer?
thanks
Do you want us to re-invent the wheel for you? The list is the list. If it's not there, no need asking "what if/of".

Re: Passport office lost citizenship registration certificate

These posts illustrate the dangers of sending original documents. Why don’t they accept copies of Home Office issued documents? The Passport Office is an agency of the Home Office and should be able to contact the Home Office to verify that the copy is true. Lost or damaged documents Complaints pro...

Re: Query reg MN1 registration for my child

If your child has a dependant visa that allows your child to re-enter the UK, then you can travel with a rest of mind.

If you don't have any visa of sorts, then you are taking a risk. Child could be stuck of there for 6 months or more easily.

Nothing is guaranteed to have a smooth transition.

Re: UK Spouse Visa - Big mistake made

It's clearly a very expensive mistake made here. I concur that FLR(FP) would be the way to go. FLR(M) cannot be met because of the salary requirements. A gamble would/could be to apply for FLR(M) and if she doesn't qualify which is as clear as day, they automatically switch her to FLR(FP) and the de...

Would a provisional driving license be classed as a proof of address for switching student visa to spouse visa. They require six proof of addresses. Would drivers license be counted?
The letter from DVLA that had the Provisional license attached to it can be used as proof of address.

Not sure that looking for shortcuts has ever helped anyone. You kids need to be free from immigration restriction, that is ILR. You state that you are planning to spend 1000.00 EUR (£865.86 ) on your proposed trip to UK which is self-funded. I have considered all the supporting information. That's too much money you're planning to spend in the UK. Raises flags when you try to bamboozle your way through with tons of cash. It...

To add to the above, The B1/B2 allows you stay in the USA for up to 180 days. Whilst the ESTA would allow you to stay for 90 days. The visa has already been paid for, you might as well use it. Provided you're travelling within the confines of it's validity. Not entirely sure, but "I think" and don't...
